“I have taken multiple pets to Smith Mountain Lake Animal Hospital since the first day they were in business. I have always had a good experience; even through the worst of times , saying goodbye to a pet. Their compassion and knowledge are outstanding. Throughout the years, they have cared for four dogs, 16 cats and a duck for me. They aren’t just my pet’s doctors but I also consider them to be my friends. The office staff and technicians are outstanding. They are the best you can find.”

“Dr Luke is very knowledgeable, caring, and listens no matter how busy he is. We have taken our pets to him over many years and feel he is the very best choice and we are so pleased to have someone with his experience so convenient. His staff is very kind and helpful also. Thank you Dr. Luke”

“Dr. Adams and her team took such wonderful care of our fur-baby. After discovering what turned out to be a splenic tumor, she took the time to help us understand what our options were in order to best care for our sweet boy. She successfully performed a splenectomy which helped him to feel much better. Dr. Adams treats her fur-patients, and their humans with the utmost care and compassion!”
