“I bring my border collie Chloe into Peaks View Animal Hospital every other week for a conditioning session in their underwater treadmill. Chloe loves to come. She is always excited to see everyone, especially Ms Sara who is the vet technician who works with her. It is always a very positive experience...for both Chloe and myself.”

“Compassionate, FOCUSED, staff! I have had several canines, with care at VCA. Dr. McConnell was absolutely wonderful with all of my senior pets, and once came over to my house, when my 19 year old friend was leaving us - she and a staff member with her, were amazing. They took him to the hospital for cremation, as I was so upset - very grateful. Now, I have a rescue, 4 years old, he is a patient. Ear issues and allergies, which Dr. McConnell is treating, with great improvement!My experience over the years, has been very positive.”

Today was my first experience at Lake Forest Animal Hospital. I brought my Chi-Pin in for a nail clipping since he hates getting his nails cut and won't let me do it. I'm not sure what they have going on there, but they worked some MAGIC because he let them do it without freaking out or trying to bite (even though he was muzzled, he still usually tries) so I am THRILLED!! Thank you Lake Forest!”

“very thankful for Dr. Miller and the staff. They helped me get through a very rough time when my dogs got exposed to mange. They have been very supportive and knowledgeable. Dr. Miller was able to find out the issue without getting a lot of tests done. He is excellent about finding the root cause without having to run multiple expensive tests. He saved me money. The vet techs are sweet. I was having a hard time getting in and out of the door today with all my dogs. They were so kind and helped me! I am very sad Dr. Miller is retiring! But happy for him! Thanks again!”

“We had nothing but great interactions over the three years they served us and took care of our sweet cats. Doctors and office staff alike were extremely kind, and Dr. Jean guided us to make a decision for our youngest cat that ended up saving her from needing a very invasive surgery (and saved us over a grand in the process). It's clear that they put the pets and customers first, so I heartily recommend to anyone in the area.”

“They took my 8 week old puppy in when no one in the surrounding areas were taking new patients. I live in Richmond Virginia and called all of the nearest emergency rooms near me and all of them weren’t taking new patients. My puppy wasn’t eating normal and wasn’t excited to play, she was throwing up and I was so scared. I took the 2 hour and 30 minute drive at 12 midnight and they checked her and got her back to normal. I’m so greatful for this facility and know if I ever need them I can count on them. P.s. the nurses were great and very informative.”

“This is the best veterinary hospital that we have ever used, and our dog is 12- we have encountered a lot of vets. The first time we brought our dog in this past Monday, they treated us like family. Our dog can be quite difficult to handle but they bent over backwards to make him comfortable with them and won our hearts and loyalty in the process. Si ended up having to have major surgery and they took so much time with us explaining in detail what was wrong with him and caring for him like he was their own. Dr. Hope is amazing and Pam is truly a keeper. Rachael and Debra took such good care of us at the front desk as well as everyone else that works there. We are so thankful to have found them- I would give more than 5 stars if I could!”
