Montebello Camping & Fishing Resort is a privately owned campground located high in the mountains of Nelson County, Virginia, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It features a four-acre lake, a fee-based trout pond, cabin rentals, and a country store. The location is beautiful with absolutely perfect scenery, offering an amazing adventure. The cabins are excellent, super clean, tastefully furnished, and equipped, considered amongst the best. They provide great views and room depending on need. The RV and tent sites are well-maintained in a rustic manner, with some offering amazing hillside lake views, water, sewer, electric, and shade. It is a very clean, family-friendly campsite. The fishing is great, especially in the spring and fall, and it is an amazing place to teach people how to fish. The park is close to hiking, a vineyard, breweries, scenic drives, and the Tye River for playing. There is no cell service or internet, allowing for real, off-the-grid camping. The staff and management are wonderful, kind, friendly, super nice, know what they are doing, and actually care about the park. It is a hidden gem campground highly recommended for a getaway.
Beautiful and remote. Be prepared for peace and quiet, and no cell service. LOL

Lovely campground with plenty of amenities, clean facilities, and a short drive to Crabtree Falls! My dog Gunner loves this place. Highly recommend!

Very quiet and secluded. Great camp host and nice little store. Curvy road getting there, but the proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway is terrific! Weekly rates are super cheap for fhu.
