I love thisnl store it's amazing what you'll find sometimes, I always go oh no I need to go way out to lowes for something ( a long way from coles point) and then go well ill check murphys first just in case and theu almost always have it plus all kinds of other stuf.

New resident in Westmoreland County and stumbled into Murphys on the way to Lowes for a new ladder. I had no idea what we were walking into. Legit hardware store, nice sized nursery, legit seed store, antiques, and local historic NNK institution. Felt like we were family. P.s. we avoided Lowes! Murphys had the 20 ft extension ladder I needed, and at a discount! A must see.

The store is a bit pricey, but does have a wide variety of items. We waited quite a while for the cashier (owner) to converse with 2 customers ahead of us. A “thanks for your patience, thanks for shopping with us”, some sort of customer service would have been nice.
