Thank you all so much for making an emergency appointment happen to see our willow, we had called every vet clinic in harrisonburg and was turned away but you all managed to make it work and get us in and helped us and supported us through it. We truly are grateful for this vet clinic and their staff, they all have such caring hearts and if wasnt for them we dont know where our willow would be today. She is now on her way to making excellent recovery, much love for everyone here!

Was nervous about having my elderly dog switch vets when we moved, but was very happy with this place and the sweet staff. They were very attentive even empathetic to our situation. Glad my friend told me about this place.

I took an injured stray kitty there and they were so kind and helpful even though I'm not a client of theirs. They fit me in and saw the kitty right away. They were very empathetic through the whole situation. I would definitely recommend them!

I have been coming here for years. I absolutely love the service and care. One of my pups, now 8 years old, went to see Dr. Vaughn when I got her. She was 5 weeks old and half dead. She's been happy, healthy and spry ever since.

This office is very unprofessional and greedy. I have brought my pets here for checkups and vaccinations since Feb 2020. They were always a little pricey, but the vets were super nice. However, in May 2022, we found some small kittens that had been abandoned in our barn. I decided to get them checked out and neutered to help avoid more kittens. The day of the appointment, I left work early to get the kittens to the vet by 4. When I got home, kittens had disappeared. I searched for 45 minutes and they were no where to be found. I called Copper Ridge to let them know I wouldn't be making my appointment. They informed me that I would owe a $33 fee for late cancellation. I tried explaining that the kittens were gone and I had no choice. It didn't matter.A few weeks later, I received a bill in the mail with a copy of their policy with the $33 cancellation fee highlighted. I called and was told the office manager wasn't in, so I left a message. Never got a call.Last week, I received a postcard about my dog's checkup and called to make an appt. Was told they couldn't schedule it until the $33 balance was paid. I got very agitated and explained that I had left a message for the office manager and she never called back. The "delightful" lady on the phone hung up on me. I called right back and talked to a different lady and she told me the office manager wasn't in on Fridays, but would leave a message. She was supposed to call me today. So far nothing. I will be paying the $33 and requesting all of my pets records to move them to another vet who actually cares about my pets health and not just money.

Not willing to help pets in need!! Our cat recently had emergency surgery for a urinary blockage. He needed a prescription medicine food. Several vets in the area had different brands of food and willingly offered to give us samples for free with the prescription from our vet. They were awesome! However he didn't like the food sadly, but Cooper ridge had a different brand that he may eat. After sending over medical records and prescriptions from our regular vet they still needed to "see" him before allowing us to buy the food. We happily agreed but they said we needed to wait a week until they had an opening. Our cat needs this food to prevent another costly and painful surgery and they choose profit over pets. Other vets willing gave us food without seeing him to try to help him out. Strongly recommend Ashby Animal Clinic, Maple Lane or North Fork or literally anyone else who has compassion for animals instead of greed for money.

Have boarded both of my dogs here when visiting family in the area. Nice staff. Puppies did well. Staff even gave me updates when I called to check on my baby.
