Went there at 9:33 tonight. From the time we ordered 1 iced latte, it took 20 minutes to get the order! 1 car in front of us. I am a daily customer here! We couldn't wait any longer. As soon as we pulled off the car in front moved lol. So husband walked up to the window to pay and get my drink. The young girl was too busy talking and laughing with another coworker to notice him at the window. So he had to go inside to get my drink. I don't understand why you can't pull someone to a parking spot if that order is big and takes awhile knowing you have people with a smaller order behind them. Other Sheetz do this! Will NOT be going back at night here. Tell employees pay attention!! It's ridiculous to wait that long for 1 drink and have someone late for their job because someone here wants to talk too much.

I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews for gas stations, but this Sheetz location near the intersection of I-81 and Route 703 in Shenandoah absolutely deserves the praise. Whether you're a frequent traveler, a weekend road tripper, or simply passing through the scenic Shenandoah Valley, this place sets the gold standard for what a modern travel stop should be.
First off – the space. This location is huge. Tons of open space, which means no awkward parking maneuvers, no squeezing in between tight spots, and definitely no fighting for fuel pumps or food. The parking lot is massive and well-maintained, giving you plenty of room to stretch out, relax, or just catch your breath during a long drive.
Cleanliness is another standout. The entire area – inside and out – was spotless. The restrooms were exceptionally clean (and smelled fresh, which is rare for a busy travel stop), and even the gas pump area was tidy, with no trash, spills, or clutter anywhere. It’s clear this Sheetz is well-managed and takes pride in maintaining a high standard.
Views? Unexpectedly awesome. You’re surrounded by rolling green hills and open skies that really capture the beauty of Shenandoah. This isn’t your average pit stop. It actually feels peaceful. Sit in your car with a cup of coffee, and you get that rare combination of convenience and calm.
Convenience is top-tier. They’ve got a full-service drive-through for food and drink, which is perfect if you’re in a hurry or just don’t feel like getting out. The kitchen was quick, the order was accurate, and the food came out hot. Their made-to-order menu is solid as always, but this location felt particularly fast and efficient.
EV drivers take note – this location has plenty of Tesla charging stations. I counted several Superchargers lined up and ready to go, which is a big deal if you’re driving electric through rural stretches of Virginia. It’s a perfect stop to recharge both your car and yourself.
In short: This Sheetz is a 5-star oasis that delivers far more than you'd expect from a highway-side stop. It’s clean, expansive, fast, scenic, and built for all types of travelers—whether you’re hauling a trailer, driving solo, or stopping with a family. Bonus points for being EV-friendly and offering a beautiful slice of Shenandoah to enjoy while you pause your journey.
Highly recommend. I’ll be routing future trips to make sure this is one of my go-to stops.

I’m owner of 25 trucks. I send all of them to get a diesel from sheets from exit 273.
I was driving by myself today. I stopped by to this Sheetz gas station time was 6:30 PM Friday, June 20. A lady was working on a cashier after getting fuel, then I park my truck on the yard and I came to take a shower. I saw there was six keys hanging on the wall and I was the third person on the line and back on my shoulder. She said we don’t have shower available even I didn’t ask her for shower. She’s very rude and racist hopefully sheets do something about this Worker otherwise everybody go across the street the same diesel the same price.
When Customer wants to come straight to the sheets to getting diesel and give them business, the reason is sheet, have a clean shower other than that all over have the same diesel
I’m very disappointed today. I was so embarrassed. I was staying on the line even not asking for a shower, but I heard there is no shower Cashierlady says.

Very clean truck stop. Great customer service and there’s shower, just go to fuel desk and ask for one. Variety of food and drinks.

People are nice. Showers broke. No hot water in shower 13. Was told this is not the first time. The water heater broke 2 weeks ago. Come on plumbers and fix it. We live on the road and expect hot showers. It's not Sheetz fault. The plumbers don't know what they are doing.

I’m only giving 1 star because the fries were decent. The chicken tenders were absolutely AWFUL inedible garbage. Their slogan is “fresh food made to order” I should have known it wasn’t going to be good chicken tenders after they brought them out after 4 minutes of “cooking”… I assumed it was going to be real chicken cooked raw. Instead I got disgusting frozen chicken tenders that they basically just microwaved. Disgusting. Such a waste of money.
