I have been meaning to write a review of this magical and unique business! I love everything about Wetlands Trading Company. It has a really cool, delightful and whimsical vibe. There are gourmet offerings for a lovely lunch, a relaxing outdoor area with a uniquely crafted garden, pond and pieces that is sure to delight everyone. In the gift store I was like a kid in a candy shop! There were so many cool artisan type pieces to choose from. It is clear the owners have put a great deal of thought and energy to make it a place where you can simply feel good vibes, while your buying the perfect gift for yourself or your loved ones. On the day we went there was a one of a kind quilt the owner had made and it was stunning and memorable. Basye needs a beautiful quality business like this! Go out and support them for sure! You won't be disappointed.

Very nice selection of outdoor decor and the gourmet market was full of local, fresh goodies. The owner even helped direct us toward some other local attractions. Highly recommend stopping by this jewel!

Came to Wetlands Trading Co today with my parents. Eric and Jennifer were awesome!! They helped us navigate picking a few outdoor plants, as well as a few gifts from the inside part of their store. And....they had some awesome scones!!

Loved visiting Wetlands Trading Co this past week. I heard they you guys sold scones and I wanted to check them out. After many visits to Scotland and England, I admit that I am a scone snob! I usually only like my own, however, high praise indeed as your scones were better than I bake!! I was prepared to bring them home, heat them up and slather with butter, but at the last minute my family decided to make a quick trip to Woodstock. We all started eating the scones in the car. They were moist and DELICIOUS!! Loved your market, walking through the gorgeous gardens while my nephew looked for frogs. Both the garden shop and market were well designed and very homey feeling. We will be back!!

This place is amazing and you HAVE to check it out! The owners are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. They have great homemade food, boxed lunches, boxed gift assortments, etc. My son had the chicken salad boxed lunch and loved it (he's not even that much of a chicken salad fan!) and the croissants are the best I've had. For Mother's Day I received a gift box of scones, biscotti and shortbread which was beautifully assembled and so good I had to pace myself to avoid eating it all at once! They have great local coffee for purchase (my bar is set high when it comes to coffee) and I can't wait until they start serving coffee by the cup so I can sit outside and enjoy the view. I would definitely recommend stopping by here on the way to a winery for boxed treats or to pick up a really special gift for someone important in your life. This place is a rare find and I look forward to stopping in every time I go to Bryce! I have no ties to the owners and only found out about this place after my son stopped in on his way to our cabin and recommended it to me. Now I'm hooked.

Five star Beautiful store - so many quality items in a small space and home made scones- coffee- cakes - gifts - yum yum yum - they know their coffee and also sell it there. Jennifer also remodels furniture and upholstering.
Garden items to come in spring. Shop local - Just before Basye VA corner of N Supinlick Ridge Rd and Orkney Grade. Close to Bryce Resort. Stop by going into Bryce Resort and pick up fresh bread and goodies on your way in or out

The Wetlands Trading Co. is this awesome, funky, cool little shop in Basye, VA. I know the address states "Mount Jackson," but it's far closer to Basye/Bryce Mountain. They have all sorts of interesting, eclectic home decor items, and lots of lawn art. Next time you are in Basye/Bryce Mountain/Orkney Springs - check out Wetlands Trading Co.
