Mount Sidney Safety Rest Area South

Hours: Mount Sidney Safety Rest Area South is a very clean and very nice place to take a break from the highway. It is usually kind of busy with travelers and very busy with 18 wheelers, which have parking in the back. The restrooms are clean. There is ample parking, including handicap spaces, and the entrances are wheelchair accessible. The space offers plenty of open spaces to walk dogs, special areas for dogs and picnicking, and lots of places to sit. There are several charcoal grills at the picnic sites which have shade and picnic tables. Vending is available, and there are some pretty flowers to look at.
