Don't buy coffee here. It's 5 am and I'm driving back to Roanoke from Charleston getting a little sleepy, so I stop for coffee. The coffee's just barely warm, definitely made yesterday. I tell the young kid working, hey buddy this coffee is old. He comes over and pushes the button to brew fresh coffee straight into a significant volume of day old coffee. Now the coffee will be twice as warm but not hot, a perfect breeding ground for bacteria, because I doubt things get cleaned like they're supposed to around here. This is how people get sick. Don't buy food or fountain drinks here. This is in the boonies so at the moment, I don't have a choice but to drink this coffee. It's a survival situation.

I was just in the Marathon , and was verbally accosted by the older woman working there. I asked two questions and she SNAPPED both of her answers back. She was more interested in standing there talking than doing her job. There was a younger woman working and she was quite polite, friendly and helpful. I have ever intention of calling and complaining to the manager and corporate office Monday.

I've worked here before, and unfortunately the aproachablity and friendliness, of the clerks has not improved. Some are plain out rude. Good products, good location.

It's a gas station. Nothing really fancy going on here but they do have clean restrooms. And if your traveling clean facilities are sometimes hard to come by! Good snack selection and good coffee. All in all not a bad place to fuel up or snack up!
