Second and Charles is a great bookstore to go into when you have a lot of time to just peruse. Because they have a lot of different stuff to look at.

calling all bookworms and pop culture enthusiasts! if you haven't explored the wonders of 2nd & charles, you're missing out! this store has become my go-to spot, dethroning even the classic b&n (sorry, barnes & noble!) what truly sets them apart is the sheer variety they offer. from the latest releases to hidden gems, they have something for everyone. whether you're obsessed with booktok trends or searching for a specific classic, chances are you'll find it there. plus, their prices are fantastic, making it easy to score amazing deals. and let's not forget their epic sales! i can't wait for their next "buy 5 fiction, get 5 free" offer - those are legendary! they truly understand how to make book lovers' hearts happy. overall, 2nd & charles is a treasure trove waiting to be explored. with its friendly atmosphere, incredible selection, and unbeatable prices, it's no wonder it's become my favorite bookstore.

This place is amazing. It's like a half-priced bookstore combined with a Barnes&noble and a books-a-million! They had so so many books and games, interesting collectibles, and their store legit looks like the size of a grocery store. I'm legit going back this week. (Yes the photos I'm including were specific to quirky merch and not books but there were a lot of people and I didn't want to be snapping pictures of strangers to post )

The store is a mix of new and used items, including music vinyl records, anime clothing and collections, musical instruments, books, and more. It's definitely worth checking out while in the strip mall, as the items are competitively priced and of great quality. The books are arranged alphabetically by author's name, but unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an online catalog available. The staff are always busy organizing the items, but are willing to assist you if you ask for help. They also offer discounts if you subscribe to their phone text service. It's a great place to spend some time and find unique items.

This place is great, they always have the books I want in great condition, and they have an amazing collection of cool things from games (old and new) music cds, and vinyls, and even guitars.

It's clean and pretty organized environment for a place that sells both new and used stuff. I usually go just to see if something catches my eye or because I'm in the area. I just wish I could find all the volumes of manga/light novel series but often the first few are gone for the ones I read but that pretty much anywhere you go retail so I can't hold that against them.

I'm rating this based on the selling side of the business. I took a *lot* of books, mostly new and rare but more than half were rejected and the lot that was accepted brought in a paultry amount. Guess I'm used to Half-Priced Books.Lol, the amount didn't even cover the gas I spent to get there. Sure, they give you a bit more in credit, but I won't likely be out that way. Otherwise, lovely big store, lots of books, records, cute plush toys and used guitars. I'd love such a place near my own neighborhood, but to only buy books, of course!

Stopped in on a day where they had a penny a page sale. Bought four books in a series I’m reading for about $12! Great deals on used books, and when you’re done reading them, you can sell them back for either store credit or cash.

One of my favorite stores, always a joy to find new things. Unfortunately they shuffled one of my favorite books sections around and I haven't been able to track down where it went yet, but will find it eventually!

This place has good and cool stuff. I liked all the cool collectible things in the case. The only problem was the prices have been raised and were a little high

This place is magical. More books than a Barnes and Noble. Tons of records, movies, gifts, instruments, and more. I had to force myself to leave before I spent all my money. Prices are super low. And they're LGBTQIA+ inclusive. Totally coming back.

I've been here a couple of times and had pretty good experiences. I mostly only buy when I get credit from selling books to them. I will say for new buyers there are some catches. First, they don't give you an itemized list so you don't know which books are $1 back or $0.08 back. Second, you can't pick and choose some books to take back after they give a price. It's all or nothing. Third, even though they say they take all book, games, records etc. they do shift through them and leave stuff out like books without their jackets and books in poor condition. Also I've never managed to see back a game before. They always say they have too many so they can't take more. Three boxes is the limit for each buyback and usually the store credit is around double the cash back amount. Be sure to bring ID for the transaction too. All in all I like to selling function but otherwise I wouldn't shop here. They're prices are comparable to eBay or Amazon and they don't make sense a lot of the time. Like a very good condition used book would be $4.5 and the same book but marked all over from a library was $5.5.
