Quick and friendly service, employees consistently advise customers of promotions offered by 711 and opportunities made available by the 7Rewards app, grill and hot food box always stocked with fresh food, one of the cleanest stores in the entire area, what's not to like? Despite occasional issues with shoplifters, the homeless (there is a shelter 2 blocks away), and drunk patrons (bar next door), the staff consistently provide the best service that they can. Great place to shop or just get something quick to eat or drink.

7 eleven on 72nd Street is very high, Prices are not correct and some cashiers are very rude to customers. He knows that. He raises prices everyday. Stores need to have a surprise check more offen.

Worst gas station coffee I've ever had. 2/10 garbano. I don't expect much from 7-11 coffee, but it seriously even smells bad. I didn't think that was possible.

Everything is overpriced in this 711 for one... 2 I went and tried to buy $10 worth of items this morning and pulled a $100 bill... Instead of asking a manager or checking This lady with Pink Hair told me she couldn't take it... I say why?? She didn't give me a explanation.. I said "You are 711 what you mean you can't take it"? Cindy Lauper says to me "We are 711 but not a bank"... I urge you to not ever patronize this 711!! I know I won't ever spend a dime at this place again.. I already have my coworkers that work in this area to not go there! I have plenty of followers on social media and I will be back to make a video about this ordeal when The Sun comes up!

This place is nasty, the store owner/corporate doesn't care about safety. Take a look at the front counter for example. They have literally a dozen wanted photos for one thing or another. Definitely a hostile work environment for those that work there. Pretty sad people put the almighty dollar before human safety. SMH.

First of all I have dealt with customer service for 13 years whether customers are right or wrong customers are always right this 7-Eleven is the worst store in the history of Newport News first of all the black lady is very rude the store manager black lady second of all I accidentally drop a cupAnd she said if I drop it again it’s gonna cost me a dollar so I’m going to make a customer complaint against them because that is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard in my entire life

This is the most ghetto 7-11 I've been to thus far. It's nasty on the inside, the staff are rude and excessively laid back and it's dangerous, particularly at night. Avoid at ALL COST!

Night manager refused to sell me any hot food and kept telling me it "wasn't ready" I asked if I could just microwave it or wait he said he can't do that and it takes over 30min for the wings cook. I told him I know that they cook the wings in the convection oven and then put them in the hot bar and that they wouldn't put uncooked wings in there. He got very mad at me and told me to wait outside for the food. I told him I'd call corporate and then he yelled at me to "call Donald Trump!" And that he didn't care what I did.

This place is very racist. I came here earlier today to grab a quick snack to satisfy my acquisitive need for food. As I approached the store I was asked to remove my hood. I am a man of color, by the way. I calmly complied, yet a white man walked in with a hood on shortly after me and he was greeted with nothing but smiles. They continued to stare at me as I pranced through the store in a search for M&Ms. Would not recommend going to this place.

I am a law abiding citizen. I entered the store then immediately was asked to remove my hoodie with no greeting. I firmly believe I was profiled. Support another business that doesn’t judge before meeting you !
