Aago is now my new favorite restaurant! Every aspect was perfect. The waiters were super friendly, the restaurant is very clean and has a warm ambiance, and the food is everything you could want from an Indian restaurant. Like seriously, words can’t describe how good the food was. Normally, when I dine I can find a critique from one dish or another but, not here. Everything I had was perfect. This was my 2nd visit. Both times I had masala paneer, and chili paneer with garlic naan. This time I also decided to try the tandoori chicken. The paneer was so delicious. The tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection. It had the right amount of crispness on the edges, and the meat was still so juicy. I also had mango lassi both times and, as expected it was phenomenal. It’s expensive but it’s worth it. I wish I lived closer but I’m sure my husband’s wallet is grateful that I won’t be able to visit as often as I would love to.

We absolutely love this place! We eat here every week and can’t get enough of it, the food is fresh and delicious, the service is excellent and it’s so cozy and welcoming. Each visit is a treat and we leave stuffed with tons of leftovers and the best part is my spouse gets great vegan dishes and I get the tandoori chicken and we’re both happy!Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options and meat options so everyone can enjoy

Amazing food. We always leave super full when we come here. Get the 2 for 50 deal, you won’t regret it. We came in on Valentine’s Day so you have to be understanding that service will be a little bit slower with all the takeouts. Food tasted amazing, and they are always welcoming.

Food was delicious like most other Indian food restaurants. Service was good the staff was very nice. There was lots of dining space and a full bar. Fun cultural music added to the ambiance.

I ordered the shrimp curry and of course it came with basmati rice. I chose a medium spice level which I usually do when I order Indian food. The meal was good, but there should've been more shrimp. I was annoyed that there was more curry than protein, so I just gave it to my mom. I'm glad she enjoyed it at least. Again, the meal wasn't bad. It just needs more meat.

Food is awesome but expensive. No buffet anymore to try different things so that is disappointing. Their tikka masala is the best!

Hands down the most delicious Indian in Newport News. Consistently delicious to the point where I crave going here! Garlic naan is always fantastic.

Two of us enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner. The food was great. One of our meals was not as ordered. The waiter replaced the dish right away and confirmed the mistake was the kitchen's. I've never had a bad meal at this restaurant.Vegetarian options: Most restaurant vegetarian options are boring, Aago's vegetarian options are tasty and abundant.
