“We chose Free Wheel Bicycle Shop, based on it's reviews, and they did not disappoint! From my first call with Bronn, to the time that we picked our bike up after it was restored, we had the best experience we could have ever expected.
This is a Schwinn Twin Deluxe with a long (50 year), history and is a very special part of our lives. It survived a move from Pennsylvania to Virginia and sat for many years in our garage. This past year, we finally decided that we would get the bike restored, since we had the garage renovated (insulation, paint, etc.) Bronn worked tirelessly on this bike with much attention to detail, and while there were challenges along the way such as worn parts, he always worked with me to make decisions about replacement parts that needed to be ordered. I felt confident in having Bronn review parts ordered with me first, as he definitely is the expert in repairs/restoration. All along the way, we were kept informed, along with pictures of the bike and status updates of progress being made.
When finished, Bronn insisted that we take a 'test run' in the parking lot, so that he could make any necessary adjustments such as seat heights and handle bars, and any last minute tightening. Additionally, he assisted in getting the bike into the back of my truck and helped secure it.
We are truly pleased and most appreciative of Bronn for all that he has done to get this piece of our family history back to us, in the best shape it's been in for many years. Whether it's a new bike, repair or a restoration like ours, I would highly recommend Freewheel Bicycle Shop and Bronn's professional, expert and courteous service. Lastly and most importantly, for the work and effort put into this restoration, I could not have asked for a better price!
