Something has changed for the worse at this dealership. I started patronizing Casey in 2012, when I bought a condo in nearby Williamsburg, and the service they provided for my two Foresters had been excellent. But today (01/25/2024) I had an appointment to replace the power steering pump on one of my cars, using a rebuilt pump I had purchased myself. When I made the appointment I told the appointment clerk that I had my own part to be installed and she said nothing. When I checked in at the dealership I told the service advisor that I had my own part to be installed and he said OK, he understood. But after I had waited for an hour, he came and said the dealership would not install owner supplied parts!But in the past this dealership had done just that for me, using an AC compressor I purchased from a local parts retailer. When I asked to speak with the service manager, he first said that they could not offer a warranty on a part they did not sell themselves. I said that I understood, and that was OK with me. He next said the part I had was "incomplete" since it had no pully or reservoir. I pointed out that the Subaru-supplied part, which was 5 times more expensive, was exactly the same, and did not come with a pully or reservoir installed either. He then had no response other than to insist that this was "corporate policy." Even though I told him that I had a trip scheduled in two days to Philadelphia for some surgery, and so needed the part installed ASAP, he refused. I will say he was pleasant and respectful throughout our discussion.It is clear to me that Casey will now not install a part they do not source and sell themselves, so they do not loose their cut of the part's (often exorbitant dealer) cost. This is why consumers need a "right-to-repair" law in every state, to protect against monopolistic overreaching by auto manufacturers and their dealers.PS. After I was turned away at Casey I found a wonderful local shop, American Pride Automotive, down the road from the dealership, which installed the part in about an hour while I waited, even though I had no appointment. Plus, American Pride has a far more pleasant waiting room than Casey, so kudos for that amenity too!PPS. I have no idea why the dealer's response to a review I gave them four years ago appears at the end of this 2024 review!

Had my old break down over the holidays and Casey’s Subaru was the only place in the Hampton roads area with what I wanted available. They were able to get me in a new car within a day of contacting them. Super helpful and accommodating to my schedule throughout the process.

Jason helped us in the process of buying our new outback. He was great to work with, very patient, supportive, and honest. I felt comfortable with the buying process and that’s hard to find when buying a car! I liked them far better than First Team Subaru. Casey’s worth the drive.

We love Subaru! Casey Subaru takes great care of us. Hubert in sales was knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. My only complaint is the process still took 4 hours to complete, I wish car buying was a faster process. Overall I was very happy and will be coming back to Casey as my first stop when I need a new vehicle.

Best car buying experience I could have asked for! I worked with Eric who was super helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. I feel confident in my purchase and look forward to working with the dealership for future maintenance needs. The office manager was also friendly and helpful guiding me through the paperwork and warranty information. I am already recommending this dealership to my family and friends.

I had a very good experience at Casey Subaru. My salesperson, Courtney Lee, was very patient with me when I first started shopping and was a little indecisive, but I am very pleased with my Outback XT Touring edition. It has such a smooth ride, similar to a much larger car. The follow-up from the crew at Casey has been excellent as well. This is our third purchase from Casey Subaru.

Dealership personnel were courteous and informative about the numerous Forester models. I was provided with cost comparison information to select the vehicle that suited my need. Jason was an excellent salesperson who listened to me without any sales pressure. I would recommend Casey Subaru if you are in the market for a new Subaru.

Let’s start off with PHONE ETIQUETTE… When someone calls the dealership and wants their call transferred to parts and service, do not “huff and puff” into the phone. Second, the service department is seriously lacking in customer care, efficiency, and communication. When my husband brought his care in months ago, he was given a quote EXPONENTIALLY less than what it really came out to be, and then after having the car for an hour they refused to do work in it because it has an aftermarket exhaust that we BOUGHT the car with from a dealership. Last, the service advisor literally argued with a woman in front of other customers and then when she walked out he made remarks about her, and then when we came to pick up our car after they denied to service it, he was argumentative and dismissive. This dealership is EXTREMELY lacking in integrity and respect for its customers and I can only hope they take this seriously and improve.

There are not enough stars to rate this Dealership, I would give 10 stars if I could. They are truly off the charts. I will never buy another vehicle anywhere else and I make that abundantly clear to any and everyone who will listen! We just purchased our 3rd vehicle from them and every time was completely fantastic! Our salesman Eric is the most passionate, thorough, and knowledgeable Subaru sales advisor you will find. He truly extends himself well beyond just the sale and has become a trusted advisor to our family every time it comes to our new vehicle needs, he truly enjoys talking Subaru and helping to ensure you find exactly what fits your needs, and has never once been pushy or aggressive. The sales managers do everything they can to make the vehicle you want work for you even it it means tracking one down from somewhere else and getting it for you, and the finance team helps to ensure you get the best financing and fits your budget. Casey’s included service of oil changes and state inspections also go along way in total ownership savings! Subaru as a brand, Casey as a dealer, and the sales, finance, and brand loyalty team truly are the Standard for what a car buying experience, as a whole, should be.

Excellent service. Service department was able to evaluate my vehicle, provide an estimate and complete repairs all within 24 hours of vehicle arriving at their shop. And this was without a prearranged service appointment. Service reps also completed two vehicle recall items that were overdue. I’ll definitely bring my vehicle to Casey Subaru for all future service needs.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. My service technician, Sheree N. Celestino, was an absolute joy. She kept me apprised of my service order and explained everything in intricate detail. The waiting area, bathroom and other facilities were clean and thoroughly stocked with refreshments. Straightforward financing, They tell you what they can do and then they do it. I love Courtney, ask for her in sales! My car was a total loss, But they got me rolling in forty eight hours after I came to them. Awesome service. ?
