My big surprise yesterday I have appointments for hook up my internet when the guy called me around 7:@45 he costing me out and pretending I am the one Yale that is in professional 21-12-20/23 I think Cox need to find who knows the job?? Again thappointment today at 730 I run from my job telling my manager I have appointment with Cox then I come here I don't see no one again what business is this????

The woman there today were rude. I didn't appreciate the way they were treating me. One snapped and said I wasn't talking to you I was talking to him. Next time I'm going in ill request the nice guy who was helping them.

Upgraded a DVR box in my kids room around May of last year. They gave me 10 days to turn in the old box. Turned that box in the very next business day. Almost A YEAR later, my bill is $200 more than it should be. Spoke to multiple staff that said that was a bit weird because if it wasn't turned in, I would've gotten calls and emails after ten days. Finally spoke to a supervisor, who said Cox was recently audited and multiple people are complaining about the same issue, but it's nothing they can do!?!?! It's either not pay it, or take a credit hit. This should be ILLEGAL ! I'd recommend Verizon over Cox any day. I've never missed a payment or been delinquent on a bill and I've been a customer going on two decades. This is my loyalty thanks in return...... Time for a change

Just cancelled my service because the technician tried to lie to me to keep my same service. He wouldn't let me trade in the wifi for just a modem dispute the option being online and being told to me by customer support online and over the phone. They have. A monopoly and they know it. If you have another option use it. They are terrible.Operator 19849

Wasted trip, 5 employees for 1 pay here machine to help customers pay their bill! Only to be informed that cashiers checks aren't acceptable and an employee refused to talk to the billing department on the phone and billing on the phone was not aware of the in store cashiers/personal check or money orders was discontinued a year earlier. Also learned that their $39.99 is a promotion that lasts a year and they raise the payment double! So if there a 1/2 a star I would click that.

Service out the one weekend my family is able to relax and watch some TV together, on a Holiday. All they could offer was a technician 3 days from now and a $6 credit. Then gone say I could be charged $75 for someone coming out like I did something to mess up their terrible service. So not only is the internet out my kids can't even play with any of their new electronics that require wifi nor on their tablets or laptops to occupy them the Holiday weekend. Then I have to stay home all day on my day off and wait for them to show the hell up. It's terrible service. I can't wait to cancel it. The 1st rep said someone would be out

My husband and I just moved out of town. The last email we have received from Cox was if there is anything we needed to send back to the store, we will receive an additional email stating what needed to be send back. We did not receive anything and we moved to a different state. After a while, we received a call stating we needed to pay for devices that we didn’t send back to the store so we called Cox back only to find out we had to be charged for the device that they did not ask for (did not send the email) otherwise it would affect our credits. We paid for it but this is not right. We would have sent it back with no issues in fact we have never used the device after we set up Cox wifi but the guy insisted for us to have it. We should not have been charged for it if we did not receive any emails regarding returning the device.If anyone is thinking of what internet service to go with, I highly recommend Verizon and of course never Cox again for their unprofessional and deceiving policy. We should not get charged if we were not informed of it. The last email we received from Cox said we will send you an additional email if we needed you to send any devices back to the store. And Cox has a record of all our emails.

Set up autopay and I still got charged for late payments! Very unprofessional! If you have Cox currently and you live in the Newport News area I would suggest a different service! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE!

I had issues with my DVR player so I called customer service and the first person was rude so I hung up and got this really nice lady that help me and she said I need a new box's so I get in my car and go get my new DVR which I was approved for a upgrade which was nice but she gave me the wrong remote so I called and the customer service again the lady told me that I had the wrong remote then the next morning I went to get the right one then I came home to program all my TV shows all over again I'm saying all this to say I like this box's better
