šš©µ Wow what an amazing consignment store / antique store / Museum. Nothing better than true Chinese special angels running beautiful stores in North America. Hopefully we have more Chinese special angels or Special angels like this amazing Angel special angel Zoe. Keep up the amazing work touching people's hearts and doing an amazing job being the special angel you are. Great place to go look around. I find something overtime we go. Great and fair prices. 2 buildings ib same strip mall. Check out both as they have different selections of items.

I used to love going here. But recently stuff has changed. It used to be a āenjoy walking around, find some decently priced treasuresā kind of place. Now every single booth are people upcycling items and selling them for crazy prices. It used to be my escape to go there and find unique old items. Sometimes they would need to be fixed up, and thatās fine. I enjoy stuff like that. There was also a man who would sit at his booth and try to sell you candles? Like really? I canāt stand the sales people who try to talk to you in Samās club. Needless to say, I wish it was what it used to be.

I found this gem by accident on my way to another destination. The staff is super friendly and I felt like I went back in time with all of the nostalgic pieces; they also had beautiful up to date crafts and other items. Literally, something for everyone. You must stop in ?

This is a nice store to get lost in. There are so many incredible things to learn about and appreciate. I have bought several pieces for my home here. I highly suggest this store.
Be sure to go to both ends of the shopping mall as there are two separate store units. Love it.

Design & Consign is a two store antique dealer on Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, VA. One shop deals mostly in smaller knick-knacks, while the other focuses on estate pieces, including furniture and better artwork. We stopped in while visiting family to see if there were any objects we might find interesting. There was enough Asian possibilities to keep us alert, but nothing that demanded immediate purchase based on uniqueness or outstanding value. There were quite a few vendors at each location, some more to our liking than others. I found a few beautiful beads in bracelets and necklaces that could be broken down and reassembled into attractive jewelry, as well as some good glass and some older wood vanities with decent mirrors that might work at home after some reworking. Most attractive were a few of the Asian statuary and Russian enamel plates that don't have wide circulation in the USA. While we didn't purchase anything, if they are still there when we return in a few months, some may come home with us at that time. Staff was friendly and warmly greeted us when we entered, but left us alone to meander around at our own pace and direction. Of these two stores in the same commercial strip, the estate sales operation was by far the more interesting.
