Grissom Library is a hidden gem in the vibrant Denbigh community. It offers engaging programs for young and old, fostering community, providing information, and rewarding curiosity. The library is welcoming with helpful, pleasant staff. Visitors enjoy a nice selection of books, a great computer lab and printing area, and friendly staff who allow checkout of up to 50 items and 10 DVDs or Blu‑rays at a time. Another branch can send requested books. Parking is easy and items are located quickly. The smaller, older library has lots of books, media, computers, and more, and hosts many community events for children of different ages and adults. The atmosphere is good and the staff is awesome.
I have always loved this library. There is a distinct 20th century vibe to it that will be lost when they move to the new building. I have been going to this library for over over 20 years. Those shelves hold some of my dearest friends. I hope everyone finds the time to walk among the shelves
