Nice ladies. Very dated facility.WARNING: They appear to be very careless with PII. (SSN, phone numbers, etc)I filled out some information they requested. Full name, Social, birth date, etc on a random piece of paper (unprofessional)… a few minutes later returned because didn’t leave them my phone number on paper and they said they would call me that evening. (That phone call never happened.)Anyways… my paper with all my information was just laying right out in the open where customers walk up and could have very easily taken a photo or just memorized some of the information.Returned next day to cancel my prescription with them since they never called and I asked for my paper with my information.. Well, needless to say it took them a couple minutes to locate it.. maybe poor judgement on my part for providing them that stuff on a random piece of paper, but you would think a pharmacy would be a little more organized and professional with people’s private information. I won’t be going back..

Pharmacist cost us both time and money, all while being terribly rude. Switched to a new pharmacy which was able to properly apply insurance, provide the same medication with a shelf life significantly longer (3 month expiration instead of 2 weeks!) than she could, and did it all while being pleasant.I'm surprised this place is still in business, given their "customer service" skills.

I love small businesses, better than the big chains. Ms Banyo is absolutely wonderful and is a big help. She worked with my physicians office to get my insurance to cover my medications.Glad I made the switch.

Medicap has poor customer service and inconsistent policies, as at times I HAVE to pay prior to the medication being compounded & other times, I pay when I pick up. My son's hematology nurse called Medicap, on my behalf, yesterday and also had a bad customer service experience. They are the only pharmacy locally that prepare compound medications, so it's unfortunate that they operate in the manners that they do!

Terrific! I’d never been here before, but the staff (esp. Ms. Banyo, pharmacist and owner) is wonderful - helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and speedy. Highly recommended!

I see now why pharmacy tech school only takes one or two semesters. Even the most incompetent people can work in a pharmacy, and I just met them today at Medicap Pharmacy. When you first walk in, everything looks like it’s from 1970. Even has pretentiously tacky bumper stickers as a poor excuse for decor on the divider between the shop and the pharmacists. I thought nothing of it, hoped to give my money to a small business. Then I went to the counter to pick up my prescription, and it took them over 15 minutes to fill it, despite having lied to me over the phone an hour prior that it was ready for pick-up. Once they finished the laborious task of putting ten little antibiotic pills in a bottle, they rang me up on the register that was working (surprise surprise, the other was not). Told me the price, and I informed them I had a GoodRX coupon, as I had sent the prescription to them THROUGH GoodRX’s website. At that point they told me they didn’t accept GoodRX, which confused me because as I just stated, they received my prescription through GoodRX’s service. Didn’t even try to input the coupon, which includes a member ID, group, etc. like any other insurance information. The year is 2021, America’s healthcare system and financial inequality is absolutely abysmal, so GoodRX exists to do the humane thing and assist people in need. To not accept GoodRX or even TRY to means the people at this establishment don’t care about the lives or well-being of those who are not well-off, they only care about the money they can make off the sick. I was disgusted at the lack of humanity these pharmacists showed. I honestly hope that this review will deter others from visiting this establishment and save them the dehumanizing experience of being treated like a sack of meat with a wallet. If you do visit, be prepared to pay for overpriced drugs and horrendous service from a group of arrogant, lazy liars. It’s truly something that people can work in an industry designed to care for others and be completely heartless.

I had a great experience here. They were the only pharmacy in town that had the medication I needed AND they filled it quick. They asked what it was for and I mentioned we had gotten really sad news about our dog and the med was to help keep her comfortable. They were sympathetic and then worked with me to find a fair price. They chatted with me about their experiences with their own pets, and their kindness and empathy helped ease some of my stress.

If I could give this place no stars I would. They are constantly out of my mother's prescriptions and she often doesn't find out until she shows up that it needed to be ordered even though she calls to check if they are ready. They don't seem to have an organized system and there are prescriptions all over the floor. Take your business elsewhere if you need your prescription service to be reliable.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very caring. As soon as you walk in, it feels like a family atmosphere. In addition to filling prescriptions, they offer a lot of great advice and customized options for med management.
