It was an out of the way quiet place.

Horrible management and staff. They do not check to see if anyone has tickets..hence why 6 hooded teens snuck in an hour late to the 7:40 Marley movie, left and started trouble outside. (A guy came in saying they were breaking things and then ran). Management could have cared less. Cops should have been called right away. Smh it could be a nice theater if they actually did their jobs

My recent experience at Kiln Creek Regal Theater was nothing short of exceptional—a five-star affair indeed. From the moment I stepped in, the warmth of the staff's hospitality was palpable; every employee I encountered was the epitome of friendliness, respect, and attentiveness. The theater itself presented a sanctuary of cleanliness and order, every aspect of its operation humming with efficiency. It’s heartening to see such dedication to excellence in cinematic experiences.

We left after a 10pm showing, not a single soul there. Popcorn all over the floor. No one checked our tickets. Doors locked after we walked out. Very creepy and unprofessional.

I have gone to this cinema several times, and it is never the greatest (not very clean and the seats are not all that comfortable, like several people have indicated here), but I recently had a fairly negative experience: I ordered something on the menu they were out of, but they told me they were out of it after I paid the bill. They subsequently told me I could order something else on the menu for the same price (without offering me a refund, so I could order anythng I wanted). I got something cheaper, and they did not pay me back the difference. Pretty terrible customer service. By that point, we were in a rush to make the showtime so it wasn't worth my time or energy to pursue it further. It is just disappointing when service is that bad, and you are already paying a mark up for eating in the theater.

Ordered tickets online got scanned in with no problems. Food and tickets were reasonably priced! The staff was super nice!

I’ve lived near this cinema 30 years. This Regal Kiln Creek cinema is still the worst theater around. I gave them another chance recently and purchased tickets online for “Barbie”. When I arrived there was no one to let us in. I negotiated over the barriers to the popcorn area, and I was informed that I had to stand in the purchase tickets line. The whole idea of online purchase is that you pay a convenience fee ~ $4 for not having to stand in a queue. I tried to get my convince fee refunded because it definitely was not convenient. Regal refused to refund my $4 convenience fee. OK, anyway, the seats were very uncomfortable (even though they reclined) and the theater felt grimy. I used Regal’s refillable large popcorn to refill twice, and then took a whole full bucket of popcorn home to make up for my $4 loss of convenience fee. I definitely won’t be going to any Regal Cinemas again, ever.

Use the app to prepay and select your seating. Very friendly staff, clean facility. Great movie selections. Convenient location, just off I-64 at Newport News, VA. Recommend.

Old theater which is not a bad thing.. Customer service is always great. My only complain is the seats need some cleaning.. Always smells not so clean.. Great place to watch scary movies because the theater gives you scary movie vibes.. (again, not a bad thing) me and my son love it..

Great neighborhood movie theater. Always friendly. Small little arcade area for the young or young at heart. They always have the new movies playing. Restroom is usually clean and the theater is clean as well. Concession is always fresh. I appreciate that it feels like the theater from when I was a kid many moons ago but it certainly is not faded and old.

Rude Kiln Creek Regal Managers closed 2 hours early shutting off their ticket sales and then refused to sell us 2 tickets to the Strays movie advertised online to show at 9 pm because their system was off. I showed them my unlimited pass and they still refused to let us in the outside doors to the lobby. I believe this is a violation of their contract with Kiln Creek Village as their operating hours state they are supposed to be open until 1130 pm. From what I observed from outside the front doors, all the concessions had been shutdown also. Strawberry Foelds Regal shutdown their concessions 3 hours early at 10 pm on Sept 4 and TownCenter Virginia Beach shutdown their concessions 1.5 hours earl Sept 3 at 1030 pm. At least they left their front doors open.Who are theater managers to dictate to customers when they can come see a movie and deny admission to a theater because they are too stupid to operate without a working ticket system. Digitally dependent idiots.

Had a good time. Seats were nice. Only complaint is we had to go to the concession stand to get tickets so the kids wanted food. Added to the cost

It is what it is. It’s an older movie theater that hasn’t been upgraded with the reclining seats. The staff is very nice and friendly. The arcade is awesome and the food is okay. The theaters are smaller screens and the chairs are the folding down kind like they used to be. The bathrooms and theaters are clean. It’s just an outdated theater.
