I used my account to check my car on the web and was taken 25$ every week, I knew it was my fault so I went to the bank to report it without asking for a refund, just asking not to let it withdraw my bank, but every service is sketchy, they just call to say the other party but still withdraw, I know it's because I actively use it, so I went to the bank 3 times to notify, they said ok to call, wait the money will be refunded but the account is still being withdrawn, are they protecting my account, I went to the bank to notify time 3, they just said NEXT TiME you come to change the bank but don't do it right away for me,

TowneBank has been my bank for the last eleven years, and has been the bank of my small business for longer than that. Everyone, especially at this branch, has always gone above and beyond to help me with whatever I needed. Everyone is pleasant, polite, and helpful, and I’ve never felt like I wasn’t their number one priority.

Will not refund fraudulent charges posted to your account. Been banking with this company since 2014. 5 days before Christmas 2020 I looked at my Bank Account and saw 5 Charges posted to my Account from Alibaba.com from San Mateo California. I then submitted the Charges as being fraudulent. Was laughed at over the phone by Hillary whom stated that Townebank was not going to refund the charges of a little over $2500 back into my checking account. I then asked to speak to someone higher up. I was given a Mrs. Swanns phone number and spoke to her. She claimed that the accounts were not fraudulent and that after there 6 day investigation that they were able to get into contact with Alibaba.com and they confirmed that the person who made the charges used my current name and address. My Address was changed almost a year ago and they have never updated it. I get there Calenders and News letters in the mail but no bank statements. So who charges fraudulent things to someone's card in increments of $513.29 and $514.14 numerous times. I was called a liar in a professional manor and was told to find another financial institution to conduct my business with. Then was told it was going through a 30 day investigation and no word back. Same thing happened this year during the beginning of the pandemic. $6914 in fraudulent charges due to a stolen cell phone AND YET AGAIN... NO WE ARENT GOIMG TO REFUND THE MONEY TO YOUR ACCOUNT BEFORE MASTERCARDS 10 DAY INVESTIGATION. So anyone can use someone's townebank accounts and townebank does nothing?! I've asked numerous times for a corporate number and the number to the fraud department and no one will give out the information. The reason why I asked is because China was on a Chinese New year and there was no way for townebank to get in contact with a country who ran my debit card....

A bank drive thru that has all its lanes open AND has lines that move quickly would've thought?!?! Tellers here a friendly and fast. Lines move quickly. Never have any issues processing my requests. Love the fast service. A bit of a pain to get to when coming off the freeway, you have to quickly cut across several lanes of fast traffic otherwise you have to continue on and pull a u turn.
