Motel was clean, but they had work crews doing renovations that were sketchy. The motel is beach front and great price for the location. They offer wifi and cable. Plenty of restaurants on doordash available. Rooms have cooktop counter, microwave, and apartment size refrigerators. It was roughly $115 a night after taxes for 2 adults. Great value for your money. Management needs customer service training.....

This place is the filthiest hotel I’ve ever seen. The outside looked promising but when I entered the room, it was a nightmare. Boogers on the walls, urine crust on the toilet, you can tell bad things have happened in there. I was afraid to take my shoes off. Nasty and dirty. They should be ashamed of themselves charging people money to stay in there.

Checked into ocean view inn in Virginia Beach and literally checked out after 30 minutes bc it was absolutely abhorrent!!!! The intense scent of cigarette smoke filled my non smoking room. I called the front desk initially to request a different room bc of the smell. He told me he could not accommodate that and sent his wife to spray the room with an old bath and body works body spray. At least 3 flies were already residents of the room. I stripped the bed to search for bed bugs and found cigarettes holes and what I can only assume is mold on the mattress cover. When I went to check out I was told I cannot be refunded. I’d rather lose my $160 than spend another minute there ???.

The location, near everything you need, grills/picnic area and the quiet, non-crowded calming, no-wave and close beach next door (minus the many people fishing) is the only reason to stay here. On arrival the motel looks better then online outside, then the decorating inside first appears updated compared to online, however, the rooms were disgusting, not cleaned at all! (We had 2 separate rooms with the same issue), floors not swept or mopped, showers obviously not cleaned for months, the microwaves, refrigerators, desk, table tops and some drawers still had food droppings (crumbs and liquids) and check your bedding inside and out. You will see many markings showing that the sheets, pillow cases and comforters are not washed in the laundry. I could smell and see that they wiped some markings on the bedding with bleach to make it appear clean but did not wash the entire sheet sets, comforter or pillow cases. The 2nd room we got after complaining about the first (Door was open upon arrival, we believe because it smelled like fresh marijuana smoke) had a door issue, only a doorknob lock and had all the same issues as the last room. Thankfully, we came prepared with out own bedding and shower shoes so we did not have to touch much. There is also alot of people looking like they love at the motel, hanging clothes outside, disabled vehicles in the parking lot, cigarette buts everywhere and kids running about with a crowded feel. If you stay here, be prepared.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at, got there from driving 8 hours, was so tired and the sheets was so dirty and floors was filthy, the AC didn't work cigarettes burns all over the sink, it was so disgusting I tried to sleep in my car, go to my car to sleep and was so loud at 3am couldn't sleep. People blasting music all night screaming and cursing. I had 3 kids with me! If I could give it a zero Star I would. Oh and also the biggest cockroach I've every seen

My family visited and totally shocked. Our first day women shouting and yelling. Second night woke up to glass breaking n yelling. Next morning broken glass and a crack pipe in front of our room and we have small children. The manager is terrible and just sits in the office. Never coming back!!!

Not the fanciest hotel, but met our needs. Actually looked better in person than it did in pictures which surprised me lol. Nice location on the beach. We could see the ocean from our room. The staff were super friendly. The owners stopped by our room after we checked in and brought extra toiletries and towels for our stay and welcomed us. That was so sweet and surprising. I am definitely returning. Thank you, Ocean view Hotel!
