They change tags on expired items and restock them. I bought some dry fish, the next week, I put it in water after it was defrost overnight, the inside turned into pouder. African food such as dry fish is made to last even outside of the fridge. It can last for more than a year in the freezer and still be good. The meat is hard, it doesn't fall apart unless it's spoiled. Most stores will give you some store credit at the list but because this is done in purpose, they would not.

Have to cancel my card because of them charging things I never got. Very interesting. Went to the store to confront the owner about why I’m having multiple charges I didn’t make and he wasn’t very nice. The burgers are bomb though. But sadly would not put money into this sketchy place. Don’t use card if your there they also charge a fee that’s not posted anywhere or tell you they are charging you a fee

Filipinos make some damn good comfort food. And as it's been another rough day, comfort food is what I need. I'm like Kung Fu Panda, I eat when I get stressed...and when I'm happy... and well, just because. I'm a foodie, don't judge! Today I really wanted Tocino, something sweet and savory, especially since I don't really eat meat anymore. But alas, my craving was not able to be satisfied as they did not have any today. They did, however, have a large assortment of fish, lumpia, loganisa, sinigang... for $5.25, you get a heaping two item entree. Lumpia is only sixty cents a piece. For less than $40, I got two combos, a dozen lumpia and four loganisa. And since my eyes are almost always bigger than my stomach, I barely even had a third of my combo before getting too full. So glad this place is here!

The food is great and this is my favorite combination to order. 4 stars because I got my straw thrown on the counter instead of handed to me.

Daughter requested Lumpia and Pancit for bday. At recommendation of a friend, we called at 10a for 2p same day pickup; packed and ready at the promised time. "Small" order pancit ($20) fed 5 people, many of whom got third helpings, for $30 incl lumpia ($0.60 ea), plus leftovers for 2 lunch portions. On bday, food was hot, flavorful, and everything we hoped it would be. Remember they close at 3p sharp, so get there before the door closes. Just order and know you're getting the same fantastic Filipino food your friend's Mom/Dad use to make growing up. You didn't have that friend? Call Maymar and you will now.

If you're craving Filipino food, this is the spot to go. Lots of varieties and the Turon (fried wrapped banana) is to die for!

Great food, friendly staff, and Karaoke, what else could you ask for in a Filipino restaurant? I took a friend to eat here and not only was the food great and what I was expecting, but the staff were extremely friendly, the price great for the value. We also got to participate in Karaoke night, talk about a unique experience! It was great and the other patrons there welcomed us to join them as they sang. If you are looking for a fun Friday night with great Filipino food, this is your place!

Called at the last minute for a large serving of chicken pancit! Our request was granted and treated like family during the process! I love both the Norfolk and Chesapeake restaurants!

In my opinion the two employees ( 1 male/ 1 female) was two of the most hostile, aggressive people I've encountered in a long time. Won't be spending my hard earned money there EVER!!!!!!
