“I can't begin to describe how it makes me feel to find that there are still good people doing good business. First of all, let me tell you that the owner has a bright and infectiously positive attitude that clearly has caught on to everyone that you will encounter. At no time have I ever felt that there wasn't a question I could or should feel silly for asking. It isn't everyday that someone puts copper gutter on a 100 plus year old house. Well, at least not for me. The staff are patient, helpful and interested in your success. It clearly makes them happy to make you happy. They sell and install a variety of things I hadn't even considered that they would offer. If you like your house and consider it a home these are the people that can take you out of the big box think and introduce you to a quality material. There are so many methods, techniques, and applications that are lost on the powder coated, aluminum, stamped, and galvanized crowd that are on display in their sales counter it makes you ask, "why did we stop doing that?" I believe the sell, service and install old school and new. So if you want more help than the limited answer you get by pressing a need help button to have someone come over from paint to look at their app so they can tell you what aisle and bay then these are the people you should visit. I would highly recommend them and I don't share that lightly.”

“After visiting Lansing Newport News (not a good experience), I was hesitant about driving to Norfolk, when I get there this lady (told me she was new) was trying to help me figure it out how many boxes do I need for the siding, she asked several co workers and seems no one really care about me as a customer until this other young lady stepped up and did all the maths for us, just WOW, she told me exactly how much siding and t-channels should I bought... I spent $1500 and I left with a smile. Then outside one of the guys helped me put all the stuff in the pickup truck. I definitely will be back but I will be asking for these ladies cause this is how you are supposed to take care of new customers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (The others workers there need to learn to work as a team!)”

Always used off the shelf from big box, but because I was doing a rift sawn white oak kitchen island, I felt like I needed to get the best quality I could. Yukon did not disappoint! I told them up front this was my first time with this type of project and ordering from a lumber yard and the guys there couldn’t have been more helpful. The price was very fair, the order came in on schedule and all of the wood was beautiful!”
