I was stationed at Camp Elmore for about a year. 1984..it was my last Duty Station before being Discharged after coming back from the Rock. Loved my Days off to Virgina Beach.Almost was gonna accept a position on the Virgina State Police. But decided to come home Boston. Is the Base still open??? I have alot of memories from that place..

If you're affiliated with the military and have your CAC this is a wonderful place to take advantage of the NO TAX!! The employees are very friendly- it's a small Exchange but has all the basics you might need. The biggest draw here is the hun counter. The employees at the Gun counter have a lot of knowledge on all the guns they carry. They have frequent sales as well as a good variety of ammo. Which is hard to get. Their prices really can't be beat if you're looking for a gun or ammo. The selection of alcohol at this little Exchange is also wonderful.
