They rebuilt the transmission… complete rebuild in my 66 Mustang years ago, I had to go round and round with them because they ordered the wrong torque converter and they cracked my bellhousing and expected me to pay for it. When they were done I now had to jiggle the shifter to find the sweet spot for the neutral safety switch, they said it was worn out but it never did that before and I was eventually able to crawl underneath and adjust it to rectify it myself and since I got it back it’s leaked like a sieve. It does shift well though. In retrospect I should have gotten an attorney. Too much time has passed. To this day my blood boils every time I take it out of the garage and I see that red puddle in my floor

I have made an appointment. I have had a very pleasant experience thus far, and feel this is the best referral I've ever had. They are thorough and very experienced with all codes/issues for transmissions. I don't think I would have this expertise from anywhere else. I will post more about the outcome as it is fixed.

I had a wonderful experience at Carmatic transmissions. Dan was really patient with me and my concerns about my cvt transmission replacement, even though I consider myself a picky customer ?. The shop really knows what they're doing and I would definitely recommend them.
