CHKD Thrift Store is a popular shopping destination in the Norfolk and Virginia Beach area, known for its friendly staff and good inventory. Customers appreciate the neat, well-lit stores with nice music, creating a pleasant shopping environment. The store offers a variety of used items, including cute tops and dresses, often available in different sizes. Many visitors enjoy returning after years of shopping there, highlighting consistent customer service and the availability of bargains. However, some concerns are raised about the pricing, as certain items are considered expensive, sometimes comparable to retail prices, even when used or in less-than-ideal condition. A few customers mention that some items are stored outside in trash bags, which they interpret as a sign of lower quality. Despite this, the store is part of a well-regarded thrift store circuit with discount days and friendly staff. Overall, CHKD Thrift Store is appreciated for its inventory and customer service, though some find the prices on the higher side for used items.

Amazing place for heart deals. Everyday is a discount day for some job. One day is educators, another is first responder, another military, another senior citizen. 25% off on your day. The fifth day is the whole store 25% off. Support the children's hospital.

I donate here all the time. Easy. Leaving can be a pain if you are turning left onto Littlecreek as traffic is constant
