So let me tell you about this nail salon this is my second time going back and so long as I live in the state, I will always come back. They are the most genuine, humble people. I am actually a single mother so when I go get my nails done. I have to bring my son with me Both times I’ve come in. They have very happily taken my son and cared for him the entirety of the time that I am there which to me is so bizarre but then I sat back and I thought about it. It’s a culture thing in Asian cultures. Women come together And even some men to help care for the children in the community so it’s never a question that’s asked it’s just automatic like a knee-jerk reaction to go and care for the children. It falls back on that beautiful saying “it takes a village.” The first time I had went they had done the same thing and I left with tears in my eyes And a heart full of gratitude but back to the main focus here nails, right? They’re actually superb. There’s not a single artist in that salon that does a bad job. my nail tech today. Anna was super fast and efficient and she used techniques that I’ve never seen before! go to her!!’ Dont walk RUN

My go to nail salon in Norfolk. Been coming to the salon since the New Years. Customer service is always professional. Salon is clean and environment is friendly. Krystal does my nails and when I show her nail pics from Pinterest she always completes the replica spot on.

I found this nail salon via a Google search a month ago. I was happy they accepted walk-ins. Eva did my spa pedicure and gave me the most amazing leg massage. Jennie did my nails, and introduced me to the “v-shaped” French manicure. I’m so happy with the quality of service. They are reasonably priced for the expertise they provide.
Requested style: Nail extensions and spa pedicure.

My sister in law and I had appointments booked together. This was told to them when we walked in. I got taken back, but she didn’t. They made my sister wait. So why book appointments together, if one of us is going to wait 45 minutes, to get put on a DIFFERENT station, and then have walk ins get taken in before her because they “forgot” about her. It also took almost 30 minutes for her to even get paid attention to when I came for the pedicure.
Secondly, our nails got done, we both got full sets of acrylics and she was cut so many times. Once or even twice is pretty normal but like 4-5 times on one hand is crazy. On top of the cuts on her hands, her finger AND my finger got infected.
Lastly, the price on the website was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than what we were charged. Website said nails start at $45 we were charged significantly more. Needless to say we were absolutely not impressed. Technicians weren’t too professional and the prices were not worth the infections and awful service.

I'm visting VA for Mothers Day weekend from North Carolina. I looked up the reviews and they were all in line with the quality of services I wanted to utilize. My daughter and I received pedicures it was just okay. I walk and work 16 hours a day so I ha e some wear and tear on my feet, so I was really looking forward to having space under and on the side of my foot filed down and smooth out. My toes however pretty in pink still hurt when I put on my shoe. The spots had not been filed down as expected that's my first complaint. My next complaint is I drove from Portsmouth to Norfolk to have a mother-daughter day (Mother's Day weekend) She wanted a facial and I wanted a much need massage, but neither person was available. I didn't need to drive across town, detour traffic for an 80.00 toe nail polish.

If you want to come here for a decent pedicure, you're looking in the wrong place. I came into the salon 10 minutes after it opened. Seated immediately and was sitting amongst probably 5 others. My tech seemed to have barely cared about the job she was doing, never have I left a pedicure with ROUGH feet, I go for a nice polish and also to get my feet smoothed out and not so rugged. I had even asked if they could go back over what they had done and it felt like they just didn't care about my satisfaction, I did pay more for the nicer pedicure so I thought this would get me a bit better attention to detail or service but feet are rough and still scratchy texture and it's disappointing. some people come and this is their time to pamper themselves and might not be able to do it often, just disappointing all around.

Went here with my mom and then again a couple weeks later, fantastic place! Krystal was amazing and had amazing conversations. Very relaxing and definitely am going back.

Came into get my acrylics removed.
FIRST OFF, she didn’t wash her hands not did she ask me to wash mine…and that itself should’ve had me walking out because its disgusting.
The girl who started on my removal Attempted to PRY off my acrylics. initial I didn’t realize what she was doing …until she ripped off my pinky nail and my natural nail layers were already damaged and gone. I then asked her to stop and to soak them off because that is how removal SHOULD go.
The removal was messy and lengthier than normal.
It wasn’t very hygienic and then they immediately started pressing me on what i was going to pay for after the removal.
I agreed to try dip powder, and the nails I received are:
❌ Different lengths
❌ crooked
❌ Cuticles are trash
❌ Aren’t even the color I initially picked out. The finished product was nothing like the nail demo I originally picked. I chose #15 and it the color is just WRONG.
The girl had another coworker laughing and talking while standing right beside her and showing her things on her phone the entire time I was getting my removal and since a language barrier was present it was simply just uncomfortable and felt like I wasn’t even being attended to although getting your nails done is apparently a form of “pampering”.
Im not hating on the girls there, both were young and sweet but they were not professionals whatsoever and there was very little customer service to even comment on. Plus my nails were just completed at half the effort.
I also was told otp that a removal would be $15. I go in and got charged $5 per hand for the removal (which is what they charge on the receipt). In total I paid $55 for these nails and left unsatisfied with the entirety of my experience :( . I’m asian myself, I do my own nails usually but this place just disappointed the hell out of me.
Im 23, the most chill girl ever who will smile at everyone and always tip, but this experience completely didn’t deserve any of that from me.
