One star. The grocery store experience was a stark reminder of financial struggles. The prices were a cruel joke, mocking my empty wallet at every turn. The aisles, once promising abundance, only highlighted my limitations. My basket, holding just the bare essentials, was a testament to a meager existence. The checkout process felt like a judgmental gaze on my financial woes. Leaving with a paltry bag, I couldn't help but feel defeated. In this store, affordability is a privilege I could not afford.

This is the best harris teeter in all of Virginia. My boyfriend is from italy and we are living off all the italian foods he finds. ?Pasta, meats, and so on. I would recommend this store because it has a greater international range. The food we are getting, he can find in Italy. The Harris teeter near my house doesn't have the variety. Shop here if you want a wider range. If you're looking for real italian brands, the ones I have posted are and can be found here!

They don't have enough shopping carts and refuse to order more (not a single cart in the parking lot either). Meanwhile you will see 10-15 staff pushing empty boxes in shopping carts. Won't be going here for weekly groceries until they get more carts.

I like Harris Teeter, they have great produce, and a really nice salad bar. They have good sales too.

The store was clean and it is a nice door and the employees were polite. However the prices are way way too high. That's why I hardly ever shop there.

I like this location and this brand but I have some issues with it: 1. Prices routinely ring up wrong when they are supposed to be on discount. I always end up having to show an employee the discount in their advertising and get it adjusted. As others have mentioned, they don't have many employees here to help you so it can be a challenge. 2. You're paying premium grocery prices on a lot of the items (basically everything not on sale) but not for a premium product or experience. You can see they are trying but it's not executing as hoped. 3. Understaffed and lines can be long.

Ghettoest Harris Teeter i have ever been..People fighting in the parking lot. ZIYONNA & MIKEY and another black guy. Never again will i shop with the cashier and baggers here . 10/4/2023 around 730pm. They were just throwing my groceries without care in my bags. Destroyed my cake. Unapologetic and does not care. Mikey kept on the conversation with his buddy and ignored me. This a pricey grocery store and my expectations are high and obviously the staff here needs to be trained and good customer service not FLIRTING 101.

I love this location. Phil is always welcoming… it’s been about a decade and the positive energy doesn’t waver. Also, James is amazing… very professional… and polite… a true asset to Harris Teeter.

They need to hire more people here. Every time I've been here I've waited in line sometimes an hour long to check out because they have two registers open and the self check out will be 30 people long. Absolutely crazy.

It's pretty good. Beer selection suffers lately due takeover of fruity drinks. The carts are well maintained. Checkout men and women are generally competent especially in self checkout. Some might say even handsome in the case! My wife finds better fruit at food lion (seriously don't write them off). Furthermore, my wife makes a mean blonde style brownie with the food lion bought mix. Teeter may carry it too but that's not supportive of my narrative.

Some of the sales are ok but basically prepare to be charged multiples of what competitors charge. Why are their prices so uncompetitive? Perhaps it's the strategy of buying up competitors and shutting down stores.

My first time @ that store and my last, I understand yest was the 4th of July however unprofessional when you had the ladies in the Deli refusing to help you bec they were packing up early to get out of there. I asked if they had any potato salad who has ever heard of a store for the 4th not having potato salad the one lady responding we didnt make any today nor are we since we are closing and getting out of here. Next they had no hot dog buns who doesnt have hot dog buns again it is the 4th of july the only buns they had were $7 high priced buns are you kidding me. The women at the self ck out went to look for me & a couple other customers she cm back saying I Have never seen where we have not put out hotdog buns, she said other customers earlier in the day said it but she just assumed they didnt look in the right spot. Then they had one register and the rest was self ck out you should never be forced to use the self ck out lanes. The store was under staffed, under stocked, and high prices.
