Room was HOT !!! Had to use a fan, called about AC they said they fixed it but seen no changes. Left an item in the room, they said they looked for it and they didn’t. Ended up finding it in the room afterwards. Definitely had bugs too. Horrible NGIS

AC didn’t work for five days
and Lisa the manager should definitely be recalibrated. Her customer service skills are poor. I lost my passport. Called to ask if it was in the room, they immediately said no it wasn’t.
I came back to the hotel, met with housekeeping unbeknownst to Lisa and guess where my passport was…IN THE ROOM. Thank you for housekeeping for having empathy.

Horrible. You can't even adjust thermostat to turn on AC. I wish I would've stayed off base.

Why is the air conditioning on and it's 50 degrees outside????? This is ridiculous!!!! It's too cold!!! 😡 We should be able to adjust our own thermostats.
Seriously!!! It's winter. Turn off the AC. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!
HATE IT HERE! LODGING IS NOT GREAT!

As someone who has worked here. If I could rate this a -5. I’d rate it a -10. Single handily the worst NGIS 59 stay at or even work for, they work the workers like rightless slaves. They do not care about our personal health or well being.As someone who has worked hereThe rooms are a total mess, bugs always in the lights, bed bugs. Sloppy last min fixes instead of actually calling someone to come and do it but no, they are to cheap . AC never works in the Front desk building. Ever.“It’s not our policy” yes it is. You guys are just too lazy to do anything about it. And don’t care enough. Management here is horrid. Evil.Worst place to stay.

I've been traveling for the Navy for over 15 years now, and this by far was the worst accommodation that I've had in all that time. For half of the visit, the whole heat was out in the whole building in January! My room was 55F when I checked in, and after I asked about it the staff didn't seem to care at all and even said it happens all the time. How is the NGIS taking reservations for a hotel that doesn't even have reliable heat? The walls all had drip marks on them, which I'm assuming is from prior residents running hot water in the shower to warm the space up causing the walls to sweat. For the remainder of the trip, I never had room service after the first night, the Internet was barely able to handle work emails, and there was only one very slow functioning elevator.

The room is clean, but the heat doesn't work and the tv remote batteries need changed. For those traveling for the reserves I recommend staying off base if you can during the winter months.

room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were courteous and helpful. I think the inn should consider cleaning rooms more often. mine only got cleaned twice during my 1 week stay.

Rooms are stuffy, A/C frequently goes out. Fan that was supplied barley moved the air. One ice machine for the whole place and ots in the lobby. Condition of the building and elevators are poor at best. The place is a huge collection of safety violations! Would recommend finding a way to stay out in town! The photos are of some of the exposed areas around the entrance and the stair well I had to use to get to the parking lot because power had went out the night before at midnight and still hadn't been restored by 7am the morning I left.

Front desk and Housekeeping staff are very accommodating. But this place is by far the worst Gateway Inn. First room had no AC just like 80% of the rooms (according to the housekeepers). Moved to another room with AC but with bug problems since it’s on ground level.

Absolutely horrific.I have never gotten warts before but walking barefoot on these floors is disgusting.Room service is lazy, they rarely wash towls and blankets. I found that instead they fold a used dirty towl.And the cherry ontop A/C does not work.Dont stay here.

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. The AC was broken and it was 70+ outside. We sat in our car at midnight just to cool down. Called the front desk and was told they would put in a trouble ticket… which I assume just went into a queue with lots of other trouble tickets. Not impressed.

The worse experience of checking in to a hotel in my life! Arrives late on AMC flight ....call UBER to take us to check in Building....Front desk informed US we were in another Building 5 miles away. Exhausted and tired, we called UBer again.....costing US another $11.43, Uber was late...took a taxi to ELY Manor....costing US another $10, UBer still charged us, cost us a total of of $30 for this mess! YOU NEED TO INFORM PEOPLE OF WHAT BUILDING THEY ARE STAYING IN! horrible experience!

You can't connect your device to the TV, because you are not allowed. Room was extremely hot. Glad I didn't have to stay long. Would give no star if I could.
