You are always greeting by a warm friendly staff who are most eager to meet your every need. The country ham slices, the ham salad and the ground ham are my personal favorites. My father used to own a similar type of ham shop on the OBX, so I am most familar with country ham. The Old Virginia Ham Shop in Norfolk meets and exceeds all of my ham taste and needs. Thank you for great ham products and great service.

Recommended this place to my brother who lives up near Baltimore. He wanted a Smithfield ham "in the cloth bag" so I found this site. My brother ordered a ham (cracked pepper) from them and he loved it. Got to him really quickly as well. A bit pricey but worth it to him.

Classic VA ham sold here. We like this for Thanksgiving. Nice ham biscuits too you can eat at the store , or to go.

We definitely would not recommend this business to anyone. Our experience with them has been truly disappointing.
Your response implies that I could get a refund but you refused to pay shipping to have it returned. That cost was about $30 when I took it to UPS and I didn't feel that I should have to be responsible for that cost.

I remember this place as a child when it was at Wards Corner. Best country ham slices hands down. This location a little harder to get to but, worth the drive. Still the Great ham they've always had. Merry Christmas to all the owners and employees.
