I came to here after getting turned away at another shop, Jim squeezed me in to get my tires in. Jim was so polite and very welcoming. My friend and I were in the waiting area for about three hours since we didn’t have a ride. We chit chatted and it had the time go super fast. Since I was there for a while I noticed how welcoming and up beat he was to ever since customer that walked in. Highly recommend!

DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE A WOMAN - rude, predatory staff. Honestly don't come if you're a man either, staff are disrespectful and lazy - they overcharge for oil changes and talk down to you.

The absolute best in Hampton roads, we will never go anywhere else ever again unless we have to! Honest, fast service with fair prices. They really take care of us every time we have something wrong with our cars, and I truly believe our 11 year old car is still in such great condition because is them!

Had to get my water pump replaced most places refused to work on my type of car. Jim was very helpful and told me everything that needed to be done upfront. Was done in time frame given car runs perfect now. Will be going here for all my car needs going forward. Highly recommend!!!

I have been a loyal customer of Speedys Auto Repair for many years, and I can confidently say they are the best in the business. The facility is always welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly especially Jim and Cory.
Their quality of work is top-notch, and their pricing is both reasonable and competitive. I really value that they never overstate issues or recommend repairs that aren’t needed.. Instead, they inform me of any maintenance issues, allowing me to decide when and how to address them.
Speedys Auto Repair has consistently provided excellent service for my three cars, earning my trust with their honest guidance and expert advice. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy place to service their vehicles.

I’ve been going to Speedy’s for years, have had lots of different services done and always been extremely happy with the service and the results. Jim is fantastic, very accommodating and I’ve never seen him without a smile on his face. An auto shop that I can trust….what a great thing!

if I could give 0 stars I would. literally walked in when they open at 730. maybe 7 people in front of me. looking to get a state inspection after waiting 30 minutes in line he then proceeds to say he’s not doing anymore inspections. it was only 30 minutes of wait so it’s literally 8 am and you’re not taking anymore inspections.. like are you doing 3 inspections a day. just a waste of time.

I had such a bad experience here like 5 years back. I was warned not to take my car here by everyone at work and a buddy but it was convenient and like a block away. Every time I think about this place and the tall black guy that has the bad attitude for absolutely no reason, it just triggers me. It was honestly such a horrible experience that I felt the need to leave a review at 730 in the morning 5 years later. Very memorable.
