Had a prescription transferred and was supposed to be ready by 3 pm. Went to the pharmacy at 4:30 pm and it was not even acknowledged yet. Was told to wait until 6 pm. Unfortunately express scripts will be getting my business from now on.

Super slooooow. Time check 6:35pm (july 12, 2024).
They told me to wait for 20 to 30mins and I've been waiting here for 1hour and 35mins and counting. They should have extra cashier or pharmacist since its friday and they gonna be close the next day. If I don't need to take this medication today I wouldn't be here and just come here Sunday. They've been entertaining new customer/patient, where me waiting here for my medication. And their restroom is closed too. Time right now 6:47pm. And they starting to close their window. Wow! What happened Walgreens Pharmacy?

This location pharmacy section always seems to have the nastiest attitude the last time I commented up here they deleted it. Now I came wondering why I received no notification of my medicine being ready for 1 simple thing. My prescription was entered at 11am and the pharmacy tech said it was suppose to be done at 2:30, at the time of her telling me this it was 3:45 and she said so we’re only a little bit late but you can come back in 15…. Do better with the way you all communicate with customers, y’all always seem mad for doing the job your paid to do.

Asked for help from a male pharmacist in the back what an attitude. Simply asked for help finding a supplement that was not on the shelf come to find out. It wasn’t even in the supplement aisle. First, he tried to tell me it was in the supplement aisle and then he tried to tell me they didn’t even carry it when in fact, I had it on my phone that they did and that is why I had come to this location, they are in customer service and this was a poor example No other customers were back there early morning and I asked nicely. Some people should not be in customer service and he is one of them.!!! The older black cashier in the front was so customer oriented, very nice and professional, and check me out with no problems and wished me a nice day! He could learn something from her!!!

Expired products being sold here. Bought and brought some sodas to our hotel. Opened it and noticed there’s no fizz. Today is 5/27, these sodas expired 4/15. Six weeks between checking food and beverage inventory is silly. - I will add that our male cashier was a lot kinder than the lady cashier behind the other register.

Pharmacy is trash. Never have anything on time, has argued every time we come in, rude, and always confused with the simplest question. It seems as if no one has ANY, not even a sliver of knowledge back there. Oh and biggest issue is they never have our prescriptions, and they make sure to let us know it’s not their faults. It’s always a “computer issue” or “your provider hasn’t sent it in” or some other lame excuse. Even tho we verified our provider did send it in an hour ago. Now because they don’t want to work we’ll be waiting another hour for a simple OTC medication. Oh and as others have noted, if you’re not of the same race as the pharmacists (which is African American) you 100% are treated differently and not in a good way.
Update: a rude lady called back informing us that our tricare is not up to date or covered or any good with them there. This chick has no idea what she’s talking about. I’m active duty and should not have to contact tri care every single time I get medicine. I was just there a few weeks ago.

This morning I was in a time crunch on the way to work and had forgotten my reading glasses. I stopped in and upon entering the store was greeted by a friendly voice, I found the reading glasses station grabbed what I needed and then proceeded to check out. There was one lady in front of me being waited on and heard the cashier wish her "I hope you feeling better soon". When I got up there, I was having trouble reading the CC machine and she helped me read it, see the CC slot (yes I'm blind lol) and then asked if she could cut off the packaging so I could wear the glasses right away. What a sweet experience. I really appreciate her kindness and am sorry I didn't get her name but I couldn't read her name tag! lol

Why in the world would a pharmacy be closed on a Saturday?! It’s not a mom & pop or a small town pharmacy. Its WALGREENS in the heart of the city!? Make it make sense.

The manager Steven is always so rude and always has an attitude and has refused to load my card bc I had ones. His behavior as a manager is unacceptable!

Today, the woman with the red hair in photos was really nice and helped me with the computer to change my info. She was really sweet.
However, the black cashier with the headwrap was NOT. I was waiting to check out and there was a woman in front of me. The cashier was really nice to her, made conversation with her and told her to have a good day before she left. When I approached the counter, I said "Hello" with which the cashier responded "Do you have a Walgreens account" and I put my number in. She rang me up, didn't talk to me at all, handed me my change back as if I pissed her off somehow, I said thank you and she said absolutely nothing to me. RUDE!!

I had an appointment to get my 17 year old her meningitis vaccine for school. I get there and they take the information. The lady goes over and talks to someone, then comes back over to me and informs me that she can't get the vaccine unless she has a prescription!! THIS IS NOT MENTIONED ON THEIR WEBSITE AT ALL! It wasted their time and ours. I will be seeing if CVS has the same asinine policy because Walgreens claims it's a state of Virginia policy!
