Visitors appreciate the helpful staff, especially the dockhand who offers superb service, and the crew, including James and Capt. Michael Sedrick, who support guests with great care. The marina is popular for charters, tourist cruises, and even a cruise ship passing by, adding to its lively atmosphere. Although some reviews mention loud bands and busy surroundings, the overall experience is positive, with many enjoying the sightseeing, walking around, and nearby dining options. The facilities are clean, but some find the restrooms a bit far from the docks, and the showers could be updated. Parking nearby is inexpensive and convenient. Waterside Marina is a great place to spend a few days exploring Norfolk and its waterfront.
Well we stumble across a nice time here at the marina park. We played cornhole and listened to music and just enjoyed each other’s company and it’s right across from the Hilton Norfolk The Main.

I have to say, when I decided to stop here for the night, I thought for sure it was going to be overpriced...but it wasn't! Great location, beautiful spot in a city environment. I would stop here again.
