I was accused of stealing items by front end worker, Brian, just because I had a bag with items in it from Giant, the grocery store in the same shopping center. The coward didn't even apologize when I pulled out my receipt and matching items. Don't come here unless you want to be called a thief.

Having just moved to the area, I was very impressed with the staff of the store and the pharmacy. I was met with every effort to provide me with excellent service. The young woman who helped me in the pharmacy transferred my prescriptions on the spot, and guided me on getting the medicines transfers she could not transfer due to them being controlled substances.
I'd advise against taking a one-star review before me to heart. It is a corporate policy for expensive items to be held by employees prior to checking out, and should have no bearing on a rating of service based on perceived views. Feeling that you're suspected of potentially being a shoplifter is no reason to write a negative review. The staff in this store are polite, responsive, and professional.

Generally easy to find what you need. Prices are high, but they do offer discounts if you are not shopping exclusively with them for all your needs.

I have filled prescriptions twice per month, every month for the last 16 years and will have to for life. This has included 9 different pharmacies in/around Fairfax for various reasons (Didn't carry my meds, not in stock, poor staffing, poor service, poor MGMT. etc. etc. Walgreens at Main St Mkt Place in Fairfax was the go to for about 5 years until the Pharmacist stopped showing up for 6 days leaving me scrambling to find another pharmacy and as Everyone like me knows, this is a serious challenge. I quickly burned through 4 terrible pharmacies. One of which I had to verbally fight with the pharmacist every month because she would refuse to fill my prescription that is quite literally the difference between living and leaving (Willard Way CVS). I ended up on 123 in Oakton at CVS and was blown away from the very first day. The first accolade goes to the Pharmacist because it is her excellence at staffing that blows others away. Most hire any warm bodies that apply and that is MGMT failure. Her staff is genuinely pleasant, helpful and caring. They actually call you back when they say they will. Forget pharmacies, I could argue that their customer service rivals ANY business. This pharmacy also expedites quickly comparatively. When there is any type of hold up or discrepancy they take it up on themselves to get it straightened out vs putting all the chores on you, the customer. I truly cannot say enough good things about this pharmacy. 7 years and counting with them and I wouldn't consider any other option. They are an integral part of my life at this point and I can't thank them enough for making my life a little bit easier each month vs harder as most pharmacies seem to do. Other than the reviews I read I found great staff, great reception, fast checkout and help finding items, especially Wahid and Adam. I left happy and will be back as soon as possible if I need anything from the store or pharmacy. It's a great CVS.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this CVS location, particularly with the front-end associate, Francesca. When I brought up a concern and requested to speak with a manager, her response was to dismiss me and suggest I “shop somewhere else.”
This level of rudeness and lack of professionalism is unacceptable, and it reflects poorly on CVS as a whole. I expect better treatment as a customer and hope management takes action to address this behavior.

Normally when coming to this cvs on my way home/work, I haven’t had any problems until today. The actual PHARMACIST and another pharmacy employee has no respect for others, no customer service education, and no skill what so ever of talking to customers.
They don’t like their job, then stay home. Stop messing with paying customers money and time.
I will NEVER RECOMMEND this CVS PHARMACY for any of their services and PRESCRIPTIONS.

No issues with the pharmacy. But the woman who monitors the self checkout is a nightmare. I frequently use this location because of the close distance & I use the pharmacy, but no matter what time of day, this woman is constantly following around the store. And when it's time to check out, she stands directly behind you to monitor. I understand loss prevention is her responsibility, but she is so rude and bossy. I was trying to scan my coupons and she continued to tell me that I need to tear them each apart, and that I'm not doing it fast enough. She was clearly irritated. I always give people the benefit of the doubt that they may be having a bad day, but it is EVERY time I stop in there.

The pharmacist (Stacey) was rude and became upset when I clearly did not know her job. I Just spent $800 on meds to pay for that experience. I was there on behalf of someone else. I stopped using them for my PX needs when they thought it a good idea to shutter the place at lunch time--really inconvenient. This explains their low over-all rating

Not only are they closed for lunch but they also continue to be short staffed. I don't understand what they could be paying or what the work atmosphere is like that they cannot afford to staff up so we are not always waiting in line, especially during peak periods. I hate this store but I have no other option.

Once again, this CVS dropped the ball. Last time I visited, an Rx they told was being prepared the day before had not been prepared (over 24 hours later)… This time, they didn’t honor a simple $2.50/off coupon - after wasting a half hour of my time debating it…
