Be aware of this location!!!! Don’t waste your time here! Don’t ruin your day here! The lady who takes the passport paperwork and application she said her name is (Maime)is one of the most unprofessional and rudest person that I have seen, I think she misunderstands her job she believes that she is there to give people a hard and bad experience. we made an appointment for Thursday 9:45 to renew my 13 years old daughter, she didn’t let us to finish it in the beginning it took her few minutes to tell us how the time is short and we MUST finish it in 15 minutes, it took her 8 minutes to take my daughter’s picture (slow lady) and few minutes to loudly and unprofessionally tell us that we don’t know anything. She said we need to come back Saturday it’s open from 9:00 to 11:45, first in first serve. we went today 03/30/24 to finish what we have started on Thursday, she said we can not because we didn’t sign for the appointment, she confuses people, I don’t think it’s because of her heavy accent English, I’m sure because she wants people to get confused, she is that type of people that wants give hard time to others for no reason, I feel sorry for you because you must be so unhappy to ruin peoples day too.It’s so shame for one of the federal departments to hire and keep people like her, wait for me to complain on you I’ll make you a better person I’ll make you to treat people in a good manner. Who ever reads this comment if after awhile you still see this woman (Maime) in her place and in same type of rudeness and bad manner it means nobody above her is doing their job!

I read lots of reviews about the passport service here so my expectations were low. BUT I kept an open mind. We came on Saturday morning during walk in passport hours and arrived right at 0900. We had all the correct paperwork and we completed 4 passport applications with photos without issue. Maile was fantastic and very helpful. I honestly think some people just don’t read instructions online and don’t come prepared and expect magic. Come prepared people! They don’t make the rules! I watched as more people showed up without the required paperwork/documents and with less than pleasant attitudes. Thanks Maile for all your hard work!

I had an appointment at this location today at 9:15am, it was for renovating my minor sons passport, we were there at 9am and waited for the lady to arrive until 9:45 she never came and we were just told to keep waiting that they can’t assure us if she was going to show up or not. I asked to talk with a manager because we scheduled an appointment and that was the response they have? The front desk lady told me that I can talk with the manager supervisor but he is not going to do anything and nothing it’s going to happen. I was furious so we left.So unprofessional! Why do they take appointments if they are not going to even show up! What a waste of time! They need to learn how to do their job, they get paid for. I’m never going back to this location.

In and out quickly for mailing critical documents. Staff was polite and friendly. No issues. I’ve seen the other reviews but I was not here for passports so maybe that’s the problem.

I would give ZERO stars if possible. A very unprofessional and extremely rude, short old Asian lady works there (I don't know her name). I wish I had read reviews before making an appointment for a passport application there. I had a really bad experience with her, my blood just boiled talking to her. She was so arrogant, does not listen to my explanations and behaves like she knows everything and is always right, and I know nothing. She tried to shut me up and refused to accept my application asking for unnecessary documents. Eventually, I had to leave that branch upset and went straight to USPS Merrifield office. Very professional and polite staff accepted my son's application without any problem and after about 3 weeks we got his passport.That unprofessional lady is a DISGRACE, who should not work in such a responsible federal job and be fired immediately. Please hire more professional, polite people.

Unbelievably rude. Literally threw the little counter closed sign in my face when I went up after waiting forever for a measly 3 books of stamps. I wound up walking out because I had already waited 15 minutes while the other employee continued to argue about something with the people in front of me. I’d love to patronize my local post office but I just can’t tolerate it anymore. Worse than the DMV.

There’s only one clerk at any giving time. The manager be in the back doing lord knows what, but they not putting the customer needs first. Super long lines. Extremely time consuming. I will NEVER return to this site.

WOW. Well I'm so glad I am not alone in my review - the lady (shorter, on the thicker side, short hair, accent, was working the afternoon of 8/26/23) has TERRIBLE customer service; I left completely disgusted and made uncomfortable by her unprofessional behavior. Seriously, it's amazing she still has a job there. The male manager was pretty nice, but unfortunately it didn't make up for this woman's service. Hire nicer people! Or maybe just someone not as awful as the woman working there now :-)

Tried to report a mail issue, the manager BJ (refused to give his last name) simply kept taking over me and raising his voice. Wouldn't let me explain, didn't listen when I did, kept insisting that I needed the tracking number for a letter. When I called the organization that I was getting the letter from to confirm that there was no tracking number, he kept trying to shout at me halfway across the room.If you can go to ANY other post office, DO IT.

Very bad customer service. No patience for customers. I have not gotten any mail from the last two weeks. She didn't even see my address and kept telling me to wait at least 3 weeks.
