Because if you are scared, tried, hungry and cold…. they will be scared, tired, hungry and cold." i really feel for people on that one when i was in the signal corps doing morning formations) and i have a deep appreciation for the military as well to think of soldiers standing up for the country values or the fun side too being overseas living in germany or hearing of people getting korea as their duty station i have somewhat of a understanding for the lifestyle (i sympathize when i see people who look like they are hanging on to their job and where they live or think it's cool when i see the longterm personnel who adapt to that way of living pt the unit many years of commitment and even 'indoctrination' where too mil and affiliates can solve all my problems) um one thing that'll be real cool here is when we look around we'll also see other guests and i'll be reminded of like being in tradoc and getting your civilians or nco's and being stationed somewhere else it was georgia & germany mostly for me ft meade too the cashiers here have been phenomenal with their professionalism and demeanor a guy like a statue i'll definitely daydream about stuff like the hot gas station food or when i was in the barracks so this will be a pitstop i had mused about meeting people (i am pretty anchored here and thought i could be useful but then again i am a veteran and out) but heard warnings about that or also not wanting complaints for example”

One of the managers there is probably the most knowledgeable guy I've met when it comes to understanding what you're looking for.Quick convenient location, great staff of people, and a good quality of selection. “You can't really beat the selection of craft beer and domestic and international wines on offer here. Most importantly for me you can really customize your beer experience in particular, building your own six pack or just trying one beer from a pack and come back for that four or six pack if you liked it. No other place really allows you to do that so Total Wine will always be one of the best places to enjoy craft beer - and wine too!”

“Needed a couple of specialty items for the 2023 Autumn/Halloween/Pumpkin Cocktail season - and the Virginia ABC Store at University Mall was the only Virginia ABC Store in the area that had a quantity of the Crop Harvest Earth Organic Spiced Pumpkin Vodka in stock! So - drove over from Haymarket to snag a bottle - along with a bottle of Bols Pumpkin Spice Liqueur (which seems to be more broadly available). He was so nice to my boyfriend and I (despite us being there for 3 hours) and even came up to us to show us videos of the alpacas outside !! I wish I had gotten his name, but he was the sweetest. “I recently went in search of Chartreuse Green - it's a spirit used to make an iconic cocktail The Last Word - a prohibition era cocktail. Apparently, it's been somewhat of a challenge to find this spirit - as only a small amount is made by the Carthusian monks of the Grande Chartreuse monastery in France. I happened to find several Virginia ABC Stores in the 15-20 mile range from my home - so I cruised over to snag two bottles. I could not find it on the shelf - so I checked with the staff. The Chartreuse Green was stored in the back - they promptly retrieved two bottles for me - plus I restocked my supply of Luxardo Maraschino Cherry Liqueur with a fresh bottle. This particular Virginia ABC Store feels smaller than most. Paid with Apple Pay. Service was good! #VirginiaABCStore”
