My husband relies on this small business for the plumbing needs for our ongoing home renovations. He has enjoyed all his encounters with John over the years, both in contracting/ sales and personal repairs. The store is well stocked and reasonably priced, and John course is extremely knowledgeable and helpful!!

You need to ask these guys for advice because they know what they're talking about with plumbing and can save us amateurs a lot of headace. They sell to a lot of plumbers and know what works and what doesn't. I'm a DIYer and I bought and installed a name-brand bathtub faucet that I purchased at Lowes. I thought I'd bought well, but within 2 years I'd already had to replace parts and the diverter to shower broke. Shore Distributors explained that even the name-brand manufacturers sell a low quality line of product through Lowes to compete on price. I explained to them that I wanted quality, not low price and they ended up giving me both quality and a low price on a bathtub faucet that they know works well from all that their plumbing customers have bought, installed and maintained. Also, if you have to plumb between materials (copper to PVC or CPVC or Galvanized or whatever), explain to them what you have and they'll lead you through the store to get the pieces needed to do it right and warn you if you're about to do it wrong (like mixing metals that will corrode each other).
