VERY rude staff, tried labeling a check of mine that I had, issued to me by my 401k company for personal use. They tried holding my check because it was issued by Wells Fargo and it had my 401k's company logo on it. I heard the entire convo between the bankteller & manager at the time labeling my check as suspicious and that it was a quote " Good Call" -Bank Manager because the bankteller had issued a hold because of HER inexperienced judgement of my check. I got my check back from them, after the Bank Manager left a sarcastic remark saying to " "Try" Wells Fargo". as if my check wasn't going to go through. Well the Bank Manager & Bank Teller was wrong. I went to Wells Fargo with no issue and the check was VALID incase anyone was wondering. I brought my money back to Atlantic to cash it and of course the Bankteller was giving a attitude because she knew she was in the wrong after having to count my money to deposit it in my account. Before leaving she said a sarcastic remark in a rude tone " Have a good evening"; which honestly made me even madder considering the fact this was her mistake and her failure to take responsibility for her OWN judgement.

0/5The branch manager Melinda basically tried forcing my hand with my tax return to pay $76 for overdraft fees (2 at 36 a piece) for an account that was at 0.00 since January (last time I used it). My account was set up so it couldn't go in the negative. Apparently they allowed it to still go in the negative even though it's set up to deny purchases when it would put it in the negative. When I called recently when I noticed they said sometimes they can't stop the charge but never informed me that ahead of time. They actually I originally told me the opposite. Very sneaky and deliberate actions on their part to try and make you overdraft. She was under the impression that I had already sent my tax return to the account and told me verbatim "that this money is owed to the bank and they are going to take it no matter what, after that they'll send you a cashier's check for the rest of it, if I don't choose to keep the account". This is also the only bank in 15 years that I've had fraudulent charges on bc their lack of security measures. Very obvious fraudulent charges. So many better banks in town! Staff acts inconvenienced when you ask for certain bills.

I find it unacceptable and rude, that every time I have to conduct my transactions with Brandi she is rude and unprofessional. As, I watched her interact with other customers, I find it so bizarre how she treats certain customers. I have never had any issues when coming into the bank ever. Everyone has always treated me and my family great, especially Dana and Rose. It is unfortunate that Rose is not there anymore. Most of my family members bank at, ATU. However, I will let them know how my visit today went. Thanks!

Atlantic Union Bank is a wonderful bank. It does an amazing job at keeping your accounts safe. The customer service is extremely helpful. The bank has changed names through the years but it will always be a bank with quality service.

Horrible customer service on March 18, 2021. Towards end of transaction teller dropped cash and said nothing. No thank-you, no 'good day,' or anything. Not a word. Rude and wouldn't make eye contact.

This is the best bank. Rose and Melinda are two great woman!
