I had a great experience here! It's a bit out of the way but the dogs (and cats) there have a ton of space to enjoy.

Wow! I am so grateful to Caring for Creatures. I couldn't have imagined a more serene, beautiful, or healthy environment for rescue animals. Our new cat had been living there for a year. When we met her, she was so calm and easygoing, and even her transition into our home went smoothly. We believe her sweet, gentle temperament must have flourished in the sanctuary because the place is true to its name: a calm, safe haven for homeless cats and dogs. Truly amazing! I can't recommend the place highly enough.

We found the perfect family member here and surprised our kids on Christmas Eve ?. The Staff was extremely helpful in making sure we matched perfectly with our pup and we couldn’t be happier. Caring for Creatures really cares for these animals and makes sure don’t just go to any home but the ✨perfect✨ home! Thank you!!

We had the best experience adopting from caring for creatures. Each person cared and took all of our concerns to heart when helping us choose our Cricket. We felt supported and understood through the whole process.

I am not sure how anyone could give CFC less than a stellar review. If I was a homeless cat or dog then this is where I would want to end up. Each animal matters and they are well cared for. Wonderful sanctuary. Thank you CFC for all you do for our animals.

It was distressing to visit here. It is not a 'sanctuary', and is in truth a rescue/primarily outdoor shelter. They will take dogs back after an adoption and keep them if they aren't adopted, but most -all- rescues do that as well. I was distraught when I visited, as I expected a sanctuary. It is set on the owner's land with their house, it is beautiful acreage. But the dogs don't get to run or explore it. There is a small fenced area for off leash. The dogs are penned outside and there is a building with indoor pens. The smell of ammonia being unbearable inside. I couldn't breathe and had to exit, and could only think how the dogs were suffering with their keen ability to smell. They were all barking fiercely when we came in, and screaming for help/to get out.
