Went in to send Amazon return back. Amazon only sends QR codes now to send items back. This location advertised as a drop off location through UPS and they don’t accept QR codes. The associate was really nice but said they don’t have the equipment for scanning QR codes.
It’s 2024…it’s time to invest in that equipment if you are going to advertise the service.

I used Mailbox Express recently to have some document shredding done. When i got there, the young woman behind the counter (Casey) told me she was the only one there at the time, and depending on how many customers came in, it may take a while. I ran a couple errands and then came back by. She had finished the shredding in a timely manner, and was very efficient and friendly. Glad we have Mailbox Express here at the Lake--Thanks!

We had several documents that needed to be witnessed and notarized. The clerk was efficient and helpful and assisted us in determining where we needed to sign. They made the entire process go smoothly.

I am very pleased with Mailbox Express! The owner Candace has been pleasant, professional, and has gone out of her way to provide personal assistance, ( I'm currently Handicapped, and can't walk for much distance). Candice was so kind, and carried my packages from my car, then took care of everything else that I needed, without out my having to manage my walker and packages! She has a great sense of humor too!Any employee that I've dealt with has been busy, pleasant and helpful.So glad we have Mailbox Express to save me from going to Charlottesville !Keep up the good work!

I am having a difficult time understanding why someone would write nasty reviews about this business. I have found everyone there to be kind, businesslike, efficient and helpful! They do their best to make customer experience pleasant even when they are packed. I’ve been in line and watched as difficult customers have been addressed with a smile and patience and excellent service!

I have always had a great experience here. Candace is always helpful and enthusiastic. I am in there atleast once a week for shipments or to print items and she always gets everything done in a timely manner and she is so fun to talk to. We love Mailbox Express and Candace!

Similar to all of the other negative responses. Came in, no one else present, staff was beyond rude for no reason. Everyone has a bad day, but to take it out on your customers is not acceptable. Then my package never arrived. Luckily it wasn’t anything expensive and I was able to send out again through usps no issues. If you’re going to start a business my advice would be just be nice to the people who are paying you. It’s not difficult to be a decent person. Also, don’t get on here to rip into customers leaving negative reviews. You should try to figure out a way to correct for the mistake, or come to an understanding. Not be a keyboard hero.Also, local usps and fedex stated that there are always issues. Only repeating what they stated, I can’t speak to those problems.So yeah like the other person said, take the owners advice and go somewhere else. Clearly she doesn’t care or she wouldn’t suggest it.Update:Owner continues to blame myself and the other customers, stating everyone has "made up" these horrible experiences. Don't take over a business if you don't want to operate it in nice and fair way. OR if you don't like dealing with people.Wish you the best of luck.

I find this store such a breath of fresh air. I used to come to this location often in the past for it was the closest to me, but wasn't happy with the service from the previous owners. Ever since the new owners have taken over, the service has been great. I have been able to get through with my items and understood the process of things much easier. Even through the various holidays, they have been open and very helpful. I feel bad sometimes because there are so many disrespectful customers who feel they should be first in line all the time. The store is super clean, have other nice items such as homemade soaps and candles from local vendors. And I really appreciate the fact that the store supports local vendors and more! I don't go into Charlottesville anymore for this store is the best in the business.

I recently dropped several packages I had to send off for my online business. I had over 23 different packages. I knew it was a lot, but business had picked up. The Owner happened to be there and once I got up to the line, she was very helpful and courteous. She explained where there were some corrections I needed to make on the labeling of my packages and walked me through it. I was able to get everything done in a timely fashion. Great props to the assist with customer service.

This packaging store is amazing! Very personable staff who provide quality services. We have our mail, Amazon, UPS and any other similar delivery sent here and they do a wonderful job of safely storing our items, so no porch pirate worries for us. Since we have a "postal mail box" at this location, we can request to have all accumulated items shipped to us if we are traveling out of town. Highly recommend!
