“I came here to donate items after my dear 17-year-old cat passed away. They are really doing a fantastic job of housing and caring for animals that are ill or have been abandoned. The staff are very kind and were happy to accept items that some shelters will not (I recommend calling first if you are looking to donate anything previously belonging to another pet). Anyway, as broken hearted as I was about my cat, I was happy to provide some of her spoiled-cat belongings to this sanctuary. If you are planning to adopt, please consider adopting from here - these fur babies are living a great life out in the country but would probably love a family to call their own! If I was not planning a cross country move this summer I would have rethought my donations and returned home with a sweet senior lady cat who had recently been abandoned by her family. She seemed like such a love bug! ?
