“This review is being made for my mother, Barbara Short. She purchased a Google Pixiel on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Cellular Sales. She was told that a Verizon rep would call on Saturday to port her number and help set up the phone. The Verizon employee called but did not know how to help my mother, but said another employee would call on Sunday. On Sunday, another Verizon employee called and did not know how to help my mother, and stated that a supervisor would call her back at 630pm EST. My mother never received a call. Verizon, shame on you for not training your employees to meet your customers' needs.
Today she went back to Cellular Sales in Pennington Gap, VA, and had the BEST service possible. Matt helped get her old phone number ported to her new Google phone, made sure all her apps were moved over and working, and just made my mother feel like he cared. So, Matt, THANK YOU, well done, well done.”
