Nothing in this world like being quoted a price for parts along with waiting days on end for those parts to arrive and then when you travel there to pick up those parts you are told a price of $300 more than on the phone! What a waste of my time and gas! Lesson learned!

On December 9th, I called the store and asked if they could charge my battery and if it was free. I was told yes but inquired about the price again because I wanted to make sure. The man on the phone, Assistant Manger Gary stated "you asked me if we did it for free and I just told you yes". He was extremely rude. I arrived at the store and stated that I was there to get my battery charged. Assistant Manager Gary proceeded to ask me if I had the battery with me. I told him that it was still under the hood. He then told me that I needed to take the battery out and bring it inside the store because he could not go outside due to it being only him and another staff member. I told him that I did not know how to take the battery out and asked for step by step instructions. He then stated "I can't leave the store". I walked outside to my car and patiently waited for the store to become empty. I went back in and asked could he now take the battery out since that store was empty. I shared that I asked him earlier to provide me with step by step instructions and he replied "oh, I didn't hear that, I have a lot on my mind". I can understand that we all have bad days, however, if you are not having a good day mentally, take a mental health day. If your job does not provide mental health days, FIND ANOTHER JOB! But what you should not do is allow your mental health to allow you to be rude and nasty to a customer. I should not have had to endure with Assistant Manager Gary's nasty and unprofessional attitude.Another employee, a young man, assisted me and did such a great job. He even looked up my receipt (since I had brought a battery from there years prior) and told me that I was still under warranty. I was able to get a new battery free of charge. Thank you to that young man who helped me. He was a fellow VSU Trojan. I truly appreciate him. HAIL STATE.
