Patton Park is a beautiful spot to see the river and enjoy nice views of the river and the SAL bridge. Visitors can walk along the trail, watch the rapids, and see the piers. The area has a small picnic spot and a playground that is mostly clean. The trail has been improved with paving, making it easier to walk. However, some amenities are lacking, especially in the parking lot. The park is dog-friendly, but people often do not pick up after their dogs, and the playground and toilets can be dirty. Despite these issues, the park is a nice place for exercise, relaxation, and enjoying the scenery.
Very cool place to come up and see the river. It’s quite saddening that people throw their trash EVERYWHERE. You know who you are and you should be ashamed of yourself. Beautiful area none the less!
