Carry your radiator in for custom repairs. Saved a lot over having to buy a brand new one for my heavy truck.

I dropped of my boat's heat exchanger here to be pressure tested. I was told it would cost $250 to clean it, pressure test it, make any minor repairs and paint it. If it were to cost more than $250 or if there were no leaks then they would call and let me know. If no leaks were found, I would only be charged $50-$75 for the clean and pressure test. A week after dropping it off they called and said it was ready for pick up. I was given a bill for $283 dollars. I asked the front desk lady why is it more and did they find any leaks? Another lady came in and said no leaks were found. I asked why did I not get called and given the option to pick it up and why is it costing more than quoted, especially if no repairs were made. She said she misquoted me and she meant to say $280 originally. I was also told they have the gaskets in stock and I did not need to supply the special order Mercruiser gaskets I had already purchased. They used stock gasket material and I can see all of the razor cuts around the perimeter to fit the end caps. And I was told this was part of the $50 shop material charge. An absolute joke. She did not answer me why I wasn't called when no leaks were found as I was told that would happen. I bit my tongue and figured for this much money the paint job must be phenomenal. I went out and picked up the heat exchanger and I have never seen something from a shop painted so poorly. I pointed out all of the marks on it and asked why does it look so bad. She said that's from the carpet it was on when they rolled it over to paint the second half. What shop paints a heat exchanger, or anything for that matter on a carpet and doesn't hang it properly to avoid these imperfections. I could have painted it better with a 50 cent chip brush. I was so disgusted by the service, quality of work and the attitude of the staff that I do not trust them that they actually pressure tested it. I will be taking it to another shop now to go through it for peace of mind. I highly recommend to anyone thinking about using this shop to go somewhere else. I spent $283 and got a poorly painted, cheap gasket material, pressure tested so they say, heat exchanger back. An absolute waste of my money. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want shoddy work and employee sass to go along with it.

Had them replace my radiator, hoses, and pretty much everything on my cooling system on my w900L kenworth pretty big job for a small shop took longer than expected but it was done right and they did a lot of things my dealer wouldn’t do and kept it close to the budget I was comfortable with if I had more time to spare they could have saved me a lot of money because they can fabricate and make parts but I was on a time crunch and had to use high dollar dealer parts

Called up there twice trying to get a hold of the manager and both times the husband and wife managers were out of town, and so was the owner. Family owned businesses are great and all but I don't know who is supposed to run the place when EVERYONE is out of town...
