left downtown portsmouth when my mother called them to order. by the time i made it to them she was still on hold. which the person who answered very rudely and slammed the phone down. someone finally came to take my order, i tell her she has someone holding. she answers and lies straight to my mother about how many employees were there which i instantly correct her. the male employee is incredibly rude and the owner sat there like a doorknob with no words. worst customer service in the world ?

If I didn't have to put a star up here,then I would not. The owner is so rude to his employees and the customers. Charge me $27 for two medium Sub shop only one of them was a combo. I overheard him say something about some of his employees that can not come in today and that's what made him upset. I always gave the owner and his employees. But to see how you treat his employees and the customer is outrageous and I will never come back again. And I wouldn't suggest anyone either. And this is this is the worst sub I ever tasted.

Been there four times in two weeks. Missing the pickle two out of four. Foods great. Owner does a great job. Hopefully he'll tighten up his employees. I'll still be going there and check for my pickle from now on.

I don't know if it's new management or what but the last two orders were wrong, and the bread was so soggy it was inedible. We've always loved firehouse, I hope these two issues aren't going to become the norm!!

No service, walked in, waited at the counter with no employees in the room. Guy poked his head out and asked if I was picking up. Told him no that wanted to place an order. He returned to the back. I waited a few more minutes and a person walked in and stood at the end of the counter, went the guy returned he walked past me and waited on him, as he was picking up only. Still not acknowledging I'm still standing wait to place an order. Another employee came from the back and started filling up the racks. I figured at this point that they aren't concerned about the customers and headed over to Zero's.

Atmosphere is ok. I’ve never had issues until today. I purchased 2 subs on the firehouse app. I have my receipt , showed my bank account that they pulled the money out, called corporate and the owner still refused to provide the food or refund because a ticket didn’t print out on his side. Even when the owner called corporate and corporate advised him to make the food, he said no because there was no ticket.Absolutely terrible service and completely unreasonable to work with in conflict resolution. I will NEVER be going back to this location again.

7/6/2023The Atmosphere was ok . The service was Horrible. I was Stereotyped by The Young Lady who Took My Order ,I ordered a Large Tuna Sub Combo.She Than Ask Me What Side Would I Like .I Didn't want Chips, So Ask What Sides do you Have? The Young Lady proceeds To tell Me .I Listen Up Until she said Bake Potatoes. I ask A Simple QUESTION .I Said oh you Guys Have Bake Potatoes??? She Looked at me and Said "SOUP" I was Okay with That Until she Said .We DONT Sell "Chicken WiNgs Or French Fries" why would we Have Bake Potatoes? That Kinda Offended me Because if I wanted wings and Fries I would have went To WINGSTOP and Also I am a African American Older Female.Which Made me Feel Like She Stereotyped me .I ask To Speak To A Manager. He was Right there when she said It, But he was Getting angry with Me. Asking me Did I want The Soup Or Not .I didn't Buy the Food Because I Felt what she Said was Very Rude and Kind of Racist. I was Disappointed because the Manager act as she Said Nothing wrong I Felt Offended by her Comment. Long story Short I will Not be Returning there.
