I was looking for new church and found Grove. I love that the church feels alive, the word is good and everyone is friendly. I gave it 3 stars because the music is slow and seems it all sounds the same. I love a good worship song that makes me want to sing along and their's doesn't. As big as the choir is it seems the same person always sings the solos.I am looking to make Grove my home church

If you want to hear Gods honest truth this is the place to be. You have to be open to hearing the raw word because your toes will be stepped on and the Holy Spirit will convict you all in the name of love. Praise God!!

December 2018 by Hi There
I went to Grove Church today with my 5 y.o. son. I wasn't sure where the children's ministry was. I heard music from a door that was cracked open, so I went in.I was ecstatic to see the youth (high and middle school aged) worshipping God!!! My son was getting so excited, until we were told that he would be in the Kid Zone. Bummer, but no problem!I told the young man that I didn't know where the Kid Zone was, so he was kind enough to escort me outside until I was able to see the house. My son and I strolled over to the house. As we entered, the children were led in song by a sweet lady who welcomed us with a warm smile. We turned the corner to check-in with another person. I explained to her that we were not members and it was my son's first time there. She looked for an information sheet for me to fill-out. I decided to grab a sheet and clipboard off the ledge and asked her if that was what I needed. The sheet was pretty short. I filled it out and gave it back to her. Just as she was about to start entering my information into the computer, a member walked in. She laughed and had a short conversation with the member and gave her stickers for her children. Then another member came in. She greeted her as well. The member explained, as I was still waiting, that her friend had wanted to check her four (4) kids into Kid Zone. She told her that they could check-in under her name. The lady looked and saw the shocked and annoyed look on my face, and told me that she would get me after them (six (6) children total with the member). I was going to wait, but as they chatted, I grew impatient. I have visited several churches in my 18 years as an adult. I have never felt so disregarded and had my time disrespected at a church. Whether I was a member or not, my time is important. I left very disappointed and disgusted. I really hope the next non- (potential future) member is treated better than I was. I won't be back.
