All the staff are great and works together to get the job done. My little use to throw a fit when pulling up to her old daycare. Not now. She can’t wait to go ring the doorbell. Good well done!!”

“Our 3rd grader started at PCRS when when was 3. At first, the option of a 3 days a week for PK-3 was why we chose the school. Once there, the relationship blossomed. Each year our daughter loves her teacher more than the next. Teachers have been there for 20-30 years, some where students there, everyone knows your name and everyone, especially the parents, are always looking out for the kids. I know everyday, when I drop my 8 year old off, she is as safe and protected as she is with me.”

“My daughter was enrolled in the western Branch KinderCare for 2 years. After relocating twice and returning to the area now with my children I was excited when they were able to enroll back into KinderCare. The staff there is very warm and welcoming. My children love it there. The management team always make sure all of my children are comfortable and safe. The management and staff are professional, and the center is always clean and smelling great. Each one of my kid’s teachers are caring, funny and they always greet each one with a smile. My children have learned so much there. I love when the teachers send me pics in the KinderCare app of the activities being done. The enter action between the teachers and children is well over amazing. It makes me feel good to know that I made the right decision when I decided to re-enroll my daughter as well as my other children in the Western Branch KinderCare. If anyone is looking for a safe place for your children, I will advise you to check out this center. They are truly the best at what they do. I love Western Branch KinderCare. They are truly my extended family forever.”

“Court Street Baptist Church, founded in 1789, was burned down and rebuilt in1901 of pink granite quarried in Salisbury, N. C. This church is one of only two Baptist churches in this exuberant Romanesque Revival style in the nation.  The other is in Tennessee. The stained glass is also exceptional in its design, with yellow and shocking pink predominating. The windows go up the stairwells to the towers. When hit by full sunlight this creates a golden glow in the church that is quite unique. The church recently has received a Virginia historical marker. On November 10th. 2019. Pastor Dr. Wilber Kersey has been serving the church for 60 years and st 86 yrs old is still going strong. The church has No bell to Ring. But you can hear the bells of a church down the road. I went to this church to photograph and document a very beautiful historic church and its congregation.”

“Great preschool! The teachers are warm and caring and where else can you get montessori plus Spanish, Chinese, yoga, and Zumba?! The school embraces cultural experiences, organizes fun field trips and holds adorable performances for parents twice per year. This is not one of those schools where all the kids do the same thing each day. Each student is on their own path. After his three years there my son was definitely ready to succeed in kindergarten and my daughter is enjoying her third year now. Highly recommended.”

“My 4 year old has been attending Churchland Kindercare for about 7 months now. Being a military family he has already, in his short life, been to multiple daycares across the country. This by far is his favorite and mine. It has been the only place I haven’t felt the need to call and check on him. They post updates through the day, that include pictures & videos. His teacher, Miss. Ari, is very personable, open and honest. From our initial walk through she gained my trust. Mrs. Shanita & Mrs. Tammy are easy to get in touch with and easy to approach if there is ever a need. When I drop off & pick up my son runs from me. He has learned music, Spanish and can read 2 books. While we work with him a ton on the weekends at home, most of his learning and growth has come directly from the pre-k classroom. Miss. Ari, Miss. Christina, Miss. kyria & mr. Syrius deserve all the praise for their hard work day in and day out with these kids. He truly has so much fun, is well loved, and is learning so much. WE ❤️ KC.”

As a mom to a special needs kid, I can't exaggerate how comforting it is to know he has a place he can go on days off from school that is familiar and exciting for him all at once. “My kids have been going here for about 2 years. They both have learned more than I could have ever imagined, especially my 4 year old! The curriculum is challenging, but in the best way. The facility is always clean and organized. I have never had an issue with any of the staff or witnessed ANY of the staff ever “berating” children. The employees always take great care of the kids. They do tons of holiday parties and field trips as well as a wonderful graduation ceremony at the end of the school year. I highly recommend this place!”
