Being in Customer Service for 11 yrs .. I look at how Service Workers handle busy, uncomfortable times .. This UPS gets it … and it’s in a Urban community .. Workers must be from Chic-Fila classes ????

To everyone who may utilize this location.This store I recommend to drop off for USPS and mail only.This store is very expensive, they overcharge by a whole lot. The reason I am doing this review is to help others. This store offers many different services such as faxing, copying, shipping, amongst other services. The price of a stamp will increase to .66¢ on July 1, 2023. A ream of copy paper is under $5.00, utilize their copying services be ready to pay an arm and a leg. Fax service is very high as well. You can travel to other places for faxing and copying services. Food Lion and the Post Office sells Forever Stamps. When you have to mail something (6) pages = (1) stamp. I visited this location several times and noticed (OMG) these prices can't be correct. If you need anything sent certified mail, visit your local Post Office. This store charges $14.00 per envelope. Post Office price is under $5.00. The prices on certain mailings will also go up in July/2023. I'm sure it still will be a whole lot less than this store.If memory serves me correctly faxing and copying can be done at libraries and office supply stores.With Inflation, I stretch my dollars till they holler. So in closing if you have deep pockets, you probably don't care about the pricing. But there are many of us who are struggling to make ends meet.I highly recommend you do not go to this store for any service that you may have to pay for.Sharing is Caring?

This is a busy location so you may not be able to pop in and out in a couple minutes. However, they are always friendly and knowledgeable about the services provided.

I asked the worker behind the desk which option would allow me to not need a box with an Amazon return, she said "this one" and clicked the option on my phone. She clicked the option that still required a box and also needed me to print a return label instead of just scanning my phone. Then her and manager John told me to either pay $2 for them to print it or to go home and print it myself. After going back and forth with them and them making it known to every customer in the store John said "I'm going to charge you to print the label or charge you for a box, you pick" then was irritated when I went to get my own box from my vehicle. When I came back in he was rude and childish even more. The more reviews you read on this place the more you see it's a bad place to do business and Amazon should look for better alternatives.

This location is great. It is always packed but the service is great. They help each customer regardless of how much they bring in and sometimes if you are behind a small business owner shoppi g ? it can be stressful. I love that they care about each person's needs equally.This store is always clean and tidy.I love coming here because I trust the manager and his team to do a great job.

This company "nickel and dimes" you for everything. Pre-purchased a label for shipping, paid $25. Get to the store, and they provide, absolutely no shipping materials. What? Had to BUY a box, and pay for them to pack it. I'd you use UPS, go prepared.

Definitely the worst UPS store in the area. If you have a pre-paid item, take it to Shiny Computers (pre-paid drop off only) so you don't have to stand in line just to be asked if you'd like a receipt. This store also weighs boxes heavier then the package actually is so the pre-paid label looks wrong and the person receiving the package has to pay more to receive it. It's the only UPS store that I've used where my buyers complained about this problem. I have a scale too and their receipts are always 2-3 lbs heavier then the actual weight. Trust me, drive the extra 2 miles to Chesapeake to avoid the hassle and employees attitudes. This store also charges for any little thing they can like a 3" piece of tape THEY BELIEVE should be over a tiny hole that doesn't affect the box at all. I'm surprised they're still in business.

I come here frequently to send packages and return my Amazon purchases. The local owner is a very nice and knowledgeable person. He handles the flow of customers with ease. This location is always busy but the workers move your packages quickly. I am giving the store a four because of the wait time. This is a locally owned store and many times the owner is the only worker. Regardless of the wait time, every customer chatted happily as we waited. The owner provided great service!
