I never in my life seen a pharmacy that is as slow as Walgreens. I'm never in line less than 30 minutes whether inside the store or in the drive-through. They are also closed on the weekend.

Everything I go to scripts there's always a problem. I was just there and one pharmacy tech was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. She was ignoring the drive thru and socializing instead of doing her job.

I’ve been calling for days and the pharmacy NEVER answers the phones. It’s an incredibly important phone call concerning my medications as well. I’m in desperate need of canceling a prescription so I can receive them at my new duty station. These medicines are critical for me but I’m never able to get ahold of anyone to cancel them or help me with this problem. I was left on hold for AN HOUR and still, never got to speak with anyone. These people just ignore phone calls and being that I’m 23 hours away from Portsmouth, I can’t just drive up real fast. Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with in my 30 years of life!

Just found out today the pharmacy is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Definitely changing where my prescriptions are from this point forward. They have lost my business.

I am very disappointed in their service and especially when trying to speak to the pharmacist . After waiting 30 minutes and then phone is hung up on me. What is wrong with you. I called to speak to manager now their so called system is down. I have no rating for you guys since I could not get any response and I tried reaching you yesterday due to and urgent medication and if there was another pharmacy that might have it but couldn't get any one to pick up the phone. I think You have to do better.

Sonya was amazing. She was running the store by herself, pleasant on the phone and even more wonderful in person. Helped me with my passport photo, account info, and misc purchase while answering calls and assisting at least 5 other customers in the 10 minutes I was in the store… Fast, painless and efficient service. Please give this woman a raise ❤️

The pharmacy techs at this location are TERRIBLE, I’ve never been run around so many times with a pharmacy then with these people. their communication is terrible, they’re extremely SLOW and dysfunctional. save your self the hassle and drive the extra couple miles to go somewhere else

Id give this place zero stars if i could . They have a staffing problem being the staff is inherently lazy and refuse to operate the actual check and instead prefer to hangout in photo and huff and puff if they have to do anything .the cashier was pretty rude and unhelpful when i was questioning him about the deals they have posted on the redbulls but dont have any stock of .the shelves are barren and this place looks like its low rent . I used to come here over all othe rplaces in portsmouth becaus eit was clean and the employees where respectful and even helpful at times i see now that they're employee pool here is pitiful .

Every single time I need a prescription, there’s some sort of issue. I don’t get it. Long lines, no one answering the phones (I’m currently on hold, sitting at 34 min), system doesn’t work (or they don’t know how to work it). Same as all the other reviews. Use a different pharmacy, this one is a pain.

I needed to have some very old and precious photos enlarged for Father's Day so this past Sunday, June 2nd I headed to my local Walgreens.
I was very hesitant to use this location due to the not so wonderful reviews that I read online. This being said, it is the location that is convenient for me so I took the chance.
There was a young lady that seemed to be running both the front register as well as the Photo Department and her name was Kayla. I asked for her help since I hadn't use their photo services in several years and there had been some changes.
I want to take this opportunity to brag on her because she was wonderful!! She explained everything to me in detail and helped me throughout the whole process, I had several to do, all while going back and forth between registers and helping customers with whatever questions they had.
I wish more stores had someone as helpful and cheerful as she was. I had worked all night before going there and I was really tired so more than once she had to remind me which steps to take to get my photos done.
I will definitely return to this location in the future and may even give the pharmacy a try.
Thank you so much Kayla. You made this very tired customers morning alot less stressful.

The pharmacy are an absolute joke. No one should be left on hold on the phone for 30+ minutes. Even when I'm in there, I literally watch everyone straight up ignore the phone as it rings. Absolutely no sense of urgency at that place.

If I could put zero stars I would. I have been there multiple times and it is unexplainably closed or you have to go in which isn’t a problem if you know about this and can plan for it. I have used Walgreens at various locations for years and haven’t had this happen before. I will be going to a different pharmacy.

Very rude pharmacy tech who kept me on hold over 15-minutes. She instructed me to come in as she “tried’ to put it through my secondary insurance. When I arrived to pick up my medication she acknowledged me but walked without saying anything. After waiting at the counter for awhile, I finally asked her what was going on with my prescription. She told me to sit down as it still had not been put through my secondary insurance. As I waited she yelled at the computer several times hitting the keys over and over, “it’s not working!”Finally another tech behind the counter was able to put it through successfully. She never explained the issue or apologized for my wait. I will be changing to another Pharmacy as they show me a lack of respect and demonstrate they don’t want my business. I’ll let my money do the walking…
